Yea...take a look at that and watch the 2nd type of ship that appears and flies with all those missles.

Discussion suggestions:
-If that looks similar to some scrin technology we've seen.
-If westwood might've used this as a source for inspiration.
-If BSG used westwood as a source of inspiration.
-Whether or not we'll see some more BSG similarities.

Edit: There...happy now? >.>

in TS WW took the inspiration of scrin design from the movie Independence Day. Just look at the shape of their fighters and corvettes of the invading aliens.

The second kind of ship is called the Resurrection Ship, and it's based from Old English Cathedral style, also known as Neo-Gothic Architecture. Scrin are based from steriotypical alien design, not Battlestar.

So the Scrin will look like little green men with gigantic eyes, tiny mounths, and a horribly disproportioned, genitalialess body? Damn it... down.gif

There are no scrin.
It was a tag given to a single object in TS. ONE object. The Banshee had UNKNOWN origin, not scrin. Until C&C 3, you don't know they even exist, so it's all speculation at this point.

yes but that doesn't change the fact that the 'aliens' are NOT based from battlestar. Period. End of Discussion.

Actually, there was another one. The crashed ship, if you hold your cursor over it is called the "Scrin Ship"

the banshee was called scrin fighter in the beta and you also see crashed pods in TD and westwood made a picture showing the scrin and the banshee was made by techologi from the crashed ship so the scrin does exist to me (so i may be right?)

I noticed something. The very last 'discussion topic' in the first post.

"If we will see more BSG similarities"

Seeing as they are using TWO of the actresses from BSG to star in C&C 3, and as Mike Verdu said, much of the fanbase of C&C also watches Battlestar, that we WILL see more similarites, at least in character style and ideas.

Ya dude, it's possible. Tiberium weapons in close quarters when everything but you is a mutant is bad. And Volt Auto Rifles are a total pain in the ass in the hands of anything...

That doesnt change the fact that its name is [SCRIN] in the rules.INI. Although maybe i did not explain enough, the code-name, name-code,code or whatever you call it is named [SCRIN] (For example titans "code-name" is MMCH), the ingame name is Banshee.
