What is your Rank at Playing Tiberium Sun or Firestorm online?

I wonder if anyone here still plays tournaments (or online regularly at all for that matter) nowdays...

I really haven't played a tournament in years, so I don't have a rank at all. Back when I still used to play tournaments a lot (couple years ago), I had (believe it or not) rank 42. Though I did mostly only play Gray's when I created a game and when I joined someone's game I'd only play gray's or any other mod map I knew I was good at...
...So yeah, the having rank 42 wasn't really that amazing considering the kind of maps I played.

I actually played some guy that had rank 7 quite a few times... And he was a cheater. Not only did this guy only play mod maps, but he also only played mod maps where either GDI or Nod had the advantage and then he'd tell his opponent to pick the side that had the disadvantage... Often I knew the maps he was playing and would pick the side with the advantage (just like him). When anyone would do that, he usually wouldn't start the game until you picked the side with the disadvantage, or he'd kick you.
Never the less I did get to play him quite often and even managed to beat him quite a few times...
...Like you guessed he'd just disconnect when someone beats him and that's the end of that.

Very typically the players with the highest ranks are often cheaters. I know I didn't play the the greatest map (Grays 3vs3 Speed Mods by ShoggyCow) when I had rank 42, at least I played a fair map (yes, even though a lot of people might find the map and it's mod a bit or very lame, it's still a fair map with a fair mod once you know it).

I actually think Grays is still the best of those lame online maps (maybe I was good at it because of that or maybe that is because I was good at it...), even though I enjoy normal maps a lot more than those now.

Me my best rank was 1729. Unfortunately though it's been going down little by little. I don't really play tournaments, because I'm weak one-on-one. Plus, 8p games are just a whole lot more fun, it doesn'tmake sense playing games I wouldn't enjoy as much (and, honestly, would probably lose :confused: ) just to try and improve my rank.

That sounds suspiciously like "eatme", every word of it. him and his clan, "DKDS" are infamous for being each and every word of what you said.
Then he posts his dumb spam phrase "It's a DKDS world and you're just living in it 4 now"

Nope, it wasn't him... Eatme is some fella with rank 2 that only plays some map called "attack of the visceroids build walls" (or something simillar to that) and sends a JJ at the beginning of the game to scout and see if his opponent is good... If his opponent looks like he might have a chance to win, he quits the game (within the first minutes, so it doesn't affect his rank).

The guy I was talking about is from a couple years ago (when I still enjoyed playing those online modmaps)... I actually saw him in a (normal non-tournament) game a little while after that (also a couple years back) without a rank. I recognized his name and said "Hey, old cheater! =D" and he said "Don't say that, I don't do that anymore"... So if he wasn't lying he doesn't cheat anymore (though he probably was lying ).

The best rank i have ever got on Tiberium sun online was Rank : 3...
Right behind my clan mate S3xyl3ury.
And i was pretty pleased about it too, still disapointed i did not get rank 1...
But meh, its just a number.

I Got to that rank by playing the following three maps :

• Limited Acess
• Tiberium Garded Redux
• Grand Canyon

It was tough cause there was a good select ammount of people on there.
The people i can not stand are the ones that make their own crappy little maps, then use them in tournaments to get the advantage, it sucks in my opinion.

What also annoys me are maps like Big Bluntz Green and The battle Day, them rediculous mod maps.

I Never turned out to be good on clan matches sadly...
However, rank 3 is still good in my opinion, so i'm still pretty proud of myself.

Also i saw someone mention eatme...
Everyone knows that he cheats with his map reveal and his controlable visceriods.
My eatme is a one map wonder... Whom unfortunatly i lost to once, damn.

Big Bluntz Green isn't too bad for a online map actually... It might not be pretty (no online map is), but it's quite fair (4 corners that have plenty of tiberium) and has no mods. Yes, you don't really need to work for your money on that map, but everyone has that very same advantage.

I can't believe you don't play Terrace a lot btw I mostly play that map now myself

Similar to bittah, I havent had a rank for a long time. And back when I did, it wasnt much good, I honestly can remember it - it was definitley not in double figures though - im sure i'd remember being in the top 100.

Unfortunately, the ww maps I rarely play as many of those who play them are so frikin rude. Forest fires especially, the b@d clan people, nights1re (who team-killed my refinery in visceroid attack...then called ME the noob. Apparently it was in his way. It wasn't. ), st0nedOne, and a couple of others I can't think of right now.
They trash talk all their nonsense, apparently too 1337 to realize that most people play the game for FUN. It's funny how desperate some people are to prove that they're th 'best', that they'd try and prove it by their skill at TS...which in most cases, came from playing it 24/7 because they have no life in the real world

Well, my current (checked yesterday) Rank is 737, but after 3 times of winning it should be higher (or lower, just how you want to see it).
My best (so far I know) was 640 or something like it.

Get this rank by just play, and win. Ok most of the times other people Surrendered because they had to go .

EDIT: WTF???? Just won yesterday 3 times, and now is my Rank 181!!!! COOL (I'm not kidding) Ok, my best evar!!! (I just checed, but now I've to eat)

i got around 450 last year when i used to go on quite a lot but the problem was maps like conflict and b day I HATE THOSE MAPS
big blunts is ok the map i mostly play online to be honest
anyway currently last time i checked i had 604

81 in the world and second in the UK, back in 2000. I would've been first but my internet connection dropped out when playing number one (in the UK). I was very highly ranked (top 100) on RA2 when it first came out and reached 121 in the world from playing Renegade. I've never played enough since then to try and get a higher rank and I doubt I ever will.
