TI: Internal Errors, Report Them Here! Options

This is the only topic here I don't want to see getting any replies. Hopefully there will be no Internal Errors, but if you do come across any, please upload the except.txt and TI.log here. A Description of what happened before the Internal Error occurred, what map and settings you had set would help us too.

If you receive an Internal Error upon loading a map, then make sure you remembered to set the Twisted Insurrection GAME.exe compatibility to Windows 98!

Ok, so when you pick up a crate that shrouds the whole map, it crashess, you should look in on that :O

Erm, what? I get those crates all the time and it's never gave me an internal error.

i dont know, me and some other guy were playing and he picked up the crate and blam! it got an internal error

BTW i think it could have been a simple coding error, maybe it was a different crate?

Oh and the globo harvester looks awsome

All crate goodies and bonuses are fine it seems. It could of just been a fluke, once the crate was picked up something else could of caused an internal error at the same time. If you could upload the except.txt and TI.log then that would help me pin-point what caused the error.

I've had a shroud crate before... didn't cause an error. Ironically, these things ALWAYS seem to come right after All Reveal crates.

I'm unable to start a campaign or game. If gives me the "OMFG Twisted Insurrection has crashed!" error whenever I start. It happens after line 5 I think.

1 - Download TIPublicBeta1.rar
2 - Extract the Containing Folder to any location on your computer
3 - Once Extracted, open the TI Public Beta 1 Folder and Set GAME.exe compatibility to Windows 98 (IMPORTANT!)
4 - Run GAME.exe and play

I hadn't set it to Windows 98 before and strange enough, it used to work perfectly. Now it crashes. (I have changed it as of now)
You might want to look into that Aro. (How it worked without setting it)

It's already known what causes the problem, but the TI staff haven't fixed it yet.

Actually, it isn't known what causes this problem. According to Reaperrr, recompiling the Mixes with a different version of XCC solves the problem, but both LKO and I have recompiled the TI mix files, and we still get the compatibility issue, I am still looking into it though.

It most likely has something to do with MIX files though; I once replaced all TI's mix files with TS' mixes and it worked perfectly without compatibility mode. (so if it isn't the mix files causing the problem it can be any file inside the mix files)
Which version of XCC are you using? I might try recompiling the mix files next week myself as I haven't had any problems with adding mix files to normal TS. Not sure what version of XCC Utilities I have though as I'm in school at the moment.

I am getting them all the time, driving me nutty, all sorts of internal errors comming up all the time.
