Ney. It looks like a fantastic Star wars box art. Those cyborgs look like the droids, the gray ones.

Looks very good accually. EA is finally starting to shape up, slightly.

Its a friggen box.

You'll see it for ten seconds before you rip it apart to take the disc out and jam it in your CD drive and install the game. I could care less if it had cute fluffy kittens on it, or AV idols in Nod uniforms. But, whatever. I just wan't to get my hands on those new Nod units.

Actually you're right. It reminds me of the title screen in Generals, now that i look at it again...It's EXACTLY the same as the original box. Only a change of color, Kane got Pimped, and different units at the bottom. I'm just saying that EA should be more creative, rather than just copying they're older work, and this doesn't just apply to the box. I'd rather have a new unit for GDI than an Overlord Juggernaut. Although they did a good job with Nod.

Meh, it's cool, and I like Kane's new mask (though the green bald eye should be removed), but

As you can see, the box makes no bones about the fact that the expansion pack will be chock-full of cyborgs and lasers and tanks and explosions and disembodied bald cyborg heads and stuff.

In any case, it appears that EA is perfectly willing to copy... itself. C&C3 in green, TFD in blue, Kane's Wrath in orange... Ooh, ooh, what will the red box have in it?

Funny, all other C&C boxes(except American Red Alert, CS, AM, Sole Survivor.), have soldiers with units in their goggles. Yet Westwood repeating the idea and replacing the obliterated Nod base with a Mammoth Tank(Euro RA), a Hover MLRS, An American Flag, or creepy Yuri, is totally OK?

Nobody bitched about that back then, and I am sure nobody will here. What a double standard of hypocracy and bollocks.

Ok I'll expand. I like how they remembered that Kane had a metal plate on the side of his head (for most of the TS campaign, anyways), but the eye looks too much like the eyes from the Terminator. The red gives it a very "Nod" feel, which goes good with the idea of the expansion. The EA logo on the bottom-right looks a lot better than the green one from the original Tiberium Wars box.

About the cyborgs (I'm guessing thats what they are), I have mixed feelings. Cyborgs were Nod's most powerful infantry units (Cyborg Commando kicked ass), so I'm glad to see that they're back. However, the guns on the arms look a bit messed up. If they're a freaking amazing unit in game, I'll take this back, but the cyborgs look like Jimmy Neutron got high on Red Bull and went crazy with some corpses and computers and weapons.

I don't know what to say about the tank on the left of the cyborgs. It looks fairly cool, but..... I don't know, maybe it's the GDI in me saying that it's Nod propaganda, using a 2047 version of Photoshop to oversize a Hot Wheels tank and put an explosion on the gun to make it look like it's firing

I'll rate it as a 7.5/10, points off for what I explained above, and half a point off because it's Nod themed

wow, kane has a shiny head. very simialar to the generals and RA2 box art, i like the color though, makes it look evil

The Terminator eye does worry me a little, although at the same time it seems to be a progression from the original metal plate. I recall that the original had less grooves and details - perhaps that is more realistic too, for the time frame.

The cyborg seems like some sort of Samus though, it doesn't feel very CABAL like to me, and the drone in the background looks just like that... A star wars drone warrior.

The logos are more suited, and the photoshopped explosion looks quite nice too though. Still not entirely comfortable with a monocoloured box again, but I suppose it may suit the atmosphere of the game they are intending.
