So I figured it would be interesting to see what classes everyone is taking this year in whatever schooling they are going through. Whether it be High school or whatever you might call the equivalent to it in your country or if you are in college/university.
(now I wanted to say there was a thread like this last year and figured it would have been better to bump that but I didn't find it. Provided I didn't do a very thorough search for it. )

Anyways I shall start out with my 7 period day senior year class schedule.

1st period: 1st semester=Music History. 2nd semester= Government
2nd period: Physics
3rd period: Chemistry II (as an independent study though since the official Chemistry II class conflicted with one of my others)
4th period: Band
5th period: AP Biology
6th period: AP Calculus
7th period: College Prep. English 12

so kinda a tough class schedule especially so for it being my senior year in high school. Many people take easy elective classes their senior year so they don't have to do crap and still raise their GPA and get the last needed credits.

Today was also my first day of school. So far so good. Got a lot of classes with friends which is usually a plus. Though sadly I did already get homework in AP Calculus and Physics but the Physics took me like a minute to do as it was easy and very short.

Now the question is....how well I will be able to balance all of those classes with Soccer and Marching Band. ohmy.gif

So yea....feel free to post your schedule up if you have one. smile.gif

Hmm, I assume that is equivalent to Australian Senior High School - that is to say we have 12 units and most subjects take up 2 units

English - which is compulsory
Math 2u - which I guess is calculus
Music
Computers
Chemistry
Physics

What did you do for physics, the first thing we did was safety XD

In Belgium we don't have a system like that, but I ain't explaining it as what I really do at school is: sitting and be unnoticed as much as I can bye.gif and studying at home? ... Not. Why? Because I honestly don't give a sh*t about what I'm studying for (elektrician). There's nothing I can do else but if I'd study and pass the year, I'd have to study it for more then 3 freaking years... mad3.gif quite depressing ain't it? So I just say: Put school up your censored.gif ! furious.gif And this: chair.gif

Thank you... tongue.gif

My school has the year divided into two; A days and B days. They alternate every day (say Monday is an A day, Tuesday would be a B day, Wednesday an A, Thursday a B, Friday an A, then the next Monday would be a B day). In stead of semesters and the like, the year has 4 quarters

1st Period= Business Law
2nd Period= Gym (A days), Free Period (B days)
3rd Period= Earth Science
4th Period= More Earth Science (A days), Lunch (B days)
5th Period= French IV (considered an honours class)
6th Period= English
7th Period= Math B1 (regular math)
8th Period= Advanced Placement American History (honours class)
9th Period= College Forensics (College level course, counts as an honours class, gives college credits as well as High School credits)

I start on September 3rd. And school starts at 7:05 am, but we get out at 1:52 pm, significantly earlier than any other High School on Long Island. Newsweek ranks my school as the 78th best High School in the entire United States. We also have a sports team in the Guinness Book of World Records (the badminton team won every single match between 1973 and 2005, the winning streak totaling 504 games before a defeat by the nearby town of Smithtown in April '05).

We have different lessons every day in Australia.

And Semesters are split into 4 'Terms' anyway.

We have a minimum hours required thing to pass.

I know, but generally the Australian (At least, South Australian) Highschools follow a similar structure.

Don't mean to offend anybody or anything, sorry.

Things everybody has to do at my school for this year:
Dutch
English
Math (type A, B, C or D)
German or French
KCV (Klassieke Culturele Vorming) (Something about the Greeks and Romans of 2000 bc till 500 ac or something)

Things I got:
I took Math type B (considered the most difficult, A is easier and C is even an easier version of A) and type D (teaches me stuff I don't get thought in cool.gif.
German (because I don't like French (the language at least))
Physics
Chemistry
Economy

Math type D classes are very cool (eh...? unsure.gif ).
There are 5 people taking it (including the teacher) confused.gif

I'm best at Physics, Chemistry and Math. Those are also the subjects that are the most important to me.

That's one of the things I've forbidden myself to do until the last 2 months. Why? Because when I do I, always lose count, give myself false hope, get addicted to caffeine, get depressed and it feels for me like the year is longer then ANY other.
Once I started counting down from Christmas, and all those things stated happened. The year after that I did it with 3 month to go. Now I do it only with 2 months to go (energy drink is not free... CAFFEINE, NEED CAFFEINE)

Ahhh.... MUCH better.
I drank today too much energy drink (in total good for 240 milligrams of caffeine).

I'm sorry for you. There's also 1 teacher that I hate, Schetzer, my English teacher.
