This is one of my first (And personally best) map remake.

Basically, it's Tib Garden with totally no human influneces,
lots of wildlife, plus redone terrain & lighting; this is what Tiberium Gardens was ment to be!

LOL, yup. Way too many fiends and floaters. Kinda wreck the mood when you send an army out to the enemy base and they swarm you..

Way too big fona patches, way too much tiberium trees, way too much fiends floaters and visceroids.

What?, is this a joke? This is even worst than the westwood version confused.gif

1st thing is the MASSIVE lack of terrain detailing.

2nd thing is, the viceroids and simblings are set to Nod.

and I agree with the other with the fonas.

The ground detail isn't too bad, you don't have to over detail. You see, there should be normal ground; but he should definitely use more detail.

Too much fona, everything else looks about the same as WW's version, except more Tiberium life forms...

Gee thanks but:

1. 95% of lifeforms are 'Special' they won't attack you; just for visual effects
2. I wanted Tib gardens to be totally Tib. The WW one had grass, trees & abandoned structures which ruined the pure Tib appearence
3. What do you mean by 'terrain detail'?
4. Plus, I just replaced the exsisting trees & grass with Tib flora

Correct your vocabulary, fauna, not fona (not real word), means an organic creature such as a Tiberium Fiend
Flora not fona, are the Tiberium pods, & trees

wellllz go tell that to WestWood wink1.gif since thats how it appears (fona) in the art.ini for firestorm and how it appears in finalsun. sure it may be wrong but who really cares? this is a forum and as long as everyone knows what people are trying to say then its fine. wink1.gif

now back on topic.

IMO you have used too much of the green tiberium mold. also you have placed tiberium over top of the mold on tiles which are on the outerside of the bunch. that would make the green mold appear squarish ingame. but overall i like the idea of actually trying to make it more of a complete tiberium infested area.

oh and "ground detail" would be things like the ground LATs/types and also even hills and stuff could count towards that.

i havent played it ingame just looked at it in finalsun some. i will try to play ingame and tell you more about what i thought of the changes. BTW i didnt check but are there any new triggers in the map?

i think it would benefit your mapping skills if you made some multiplayer maps from scratch rather than editing WW versions. as you learn better the more you use finalsun and when you create your own map from scratch you have to use every feature just about to make a good map.

keep mapping i think you can get good at it. we could always use some new mappers ya know.
