No, I don't think its about the number of objectives, but how long 1 objective takes.
At the final mission of Nod for Example, there's only 1 objective: Deploy the 3 IBCM lauchers.
And how you do it... Doesn't matter, if you do it in and at the right times.

There are more objectives, I think there are four objectives
1) Destroy the three IBCM launchers
2) Destroy the Missile pyramid
3) Destroy the temple of nod
4) Destroy all left.

no crashking Roani is thinking of the last Nod mission in which you must deploy the 3 ICBM launchers and protect them until they are all deployed. while the Last GDI mission is the one your thinking of.
