You can't convert it into an SHP, because SHP turrets and barrels as separate files don't work. (except SHP turrets on buildings)
You would have to edit the mmch.shp itself and put the barrel into the turret frames to make it work.
Concerning the voxel tank with a barrel: try placing all the parts that cause visibility problems into the turret and leave the barrel only with the part that is drawn without causing any visibility problem.
If that isn't possible, then i doubt you can fix that.
Though maybe you can persuade the engine to draw one part always on top of the other, by changing the voxel dimension/bounds and hva of the turret.
converting in my dictionary means any messing with voxels what ends up in a SHP file... copy paste work, etc or even using "convert to..." button if there is one...
but yeah, this is the solution i worked out too: a part of the barrel should be drawn into the turret itself.
But you are the SHP expert, can i make a normally working turret and barrel with SHPs? Or only turret?
