OMG eXit maps for once in his life?! Yes, yes i do. Nothing special though, it's just a simple 1 vs 1 map. My main goal is to give the player the feeling that there has been a great city here once, but the war between GDI and Nod left only collapsed and empty buildings behind. Slowly, the weather and sand started to finish the job what the war didn't, and as the land was exhausted, water is not common here anymore and if you do find it, it's shores are filled with tiberium mutations, as it's the only place where you could of have found life once. The two players are divided by a large, dried out river, and a collapsed bridge, that used to connect the two major city's in this region. Some screens - Starting position of the first player. If you came to camp, then you're at the wrong place. Self-explanatory. Oh and i can't give you any in-game screens ATM, since i don't have my TS CD at hand.

QUOTE (eXit @ Oct 31 2007, 07:58 PM) Thought about the OMC, but since it's already announced and my current mapping speed is...well not the best, i don't think i'll be able to make it. A great submission for the OMC needs pre-planning. well technically OMC4 TS Edition hasn't actually been "announced" and what not. The only thing about it that has been announced is that there WILL be one once everything for the OMC4 TW edition is finished up. Which since only 1 of the 5 judges has finished the reviews so far (at least that I know of) then it may still be awhile before any OMC for TS is planned and officially announced/started. So I think you should still have enough time and be able to enter. Anyways the map looks like its coming along quite nicely. Hopefully this one will be good enough for a spotlight.

Hmm, i think that's the thing that bugs me, i'm probably gonna edit it and i already got a pretty good idea Haha, the idea is awesome, and i'll probably even implement it Edit: I changed the screenshot to an updated one. Small tweaks, mainly the road, some LAT tiles and i'm still not satisfied with the lighting. Also...wait, who is that?...that's...THAT'S EXIT THE MADMAN!!! Oh noez! (Yes his name is changed but i'm not making 2 screenshots just because of that, i also tried to make him panic but didn't work, might look into this later.)

better and the guy is funny. Something that would make it even funnier is, if you now add a baby visceroid and let him hunt the visceroid. "Come here littly puppy" Maybe rename the visceroid to "exit's little puppy" too. And if the visceroid goes too far away, it comes back to a waypoint placed in the area. Since the poor guy runs over tiberium over time you should give him TiberiumProof=yes

lol. I really like how this map is turning out eXit. I must say the lighting looks like a more intense and red Cliff's of Asvetia lighting and i must say I like it. It would be a good volcano look. Keep up the good work!

Very nice map there Exit. However, to be honest the slopes are a bit straight on some points. But the lighting and detail look fantastic and yes, I'm back if you didn't notice a short break in my posting

hmm this is indeed a pity . Though there is a possible hope, provided you haven't tried this yet.... A while back (a good while back it is at that) I lost a WIP map that was 98% completed. In the map thread I posted that it was lost and such. But then Aurora and Bittah had posted about this certain program that could get files back. However, unluckily for me mine was too far gone to be found again...BUT maybe it isn't too late for yours. Though the problem is I can't remember the programs' name or where to get them. I wanna say one was stellar something. as for the possibility of a spotlight based off the pics if it was released. I would say it would have a pretty good chance.
