First open "SUN.ini" add this in [Video]

CODE
[Video]
AllowModeToggle=yes

This key will make menu screen will lock in 640x400 mode. But when you play in game it will display that at you set.

Ex. Go to option --> Display --> Select 800x600x16 resolution Menu will still display in 640x400 resolution but when you start skirmish it will display in 800x600 resolution.

Now loading screen for GDI and Nod will lock only this

GDI - load400c.pcx,load400d.pcx
Nod - load400a.pcx,load400b.pcx

For third or more side will use this loading screen.

Third Side - load480c.pcx,load480d.pcx
Forth Side - load480a.pcx,load480b.pcx
Fifth Side - load600c.pcx,load600d.pcx
Sixth Side - load600a.pcx,load600b.pcx

you can make custom loading screen in size 640x400 and replace on above in list.

Bug : This bug cause by put "AllowModeToggle=yes" in SUN.ini
1.If you load saved game from main menu resolution in game will be 640x400. To avoid this start any new game(campaign or skirmish) game in resolution that you want and then load saved game that you want.
2.In campaign If you click restart mission with resolution higher than 640x400. It will use incorrect loading screen.
3.If you not have "Wide Screen" menu screen will lock in 640x480 mode instead. And it make loading screen change to this.

GDI - load480c.pcx,load480d.pcx
Nod - load480a.pcx,load480b.pcx
Third Side - load600c.pcx,load600d.pcx
Forth Side - load600a.pcx,load600b.pcx

And Fifth side and Sixth side loading screen will appear in dark.

You do know that Mode Toggle is supposed to lock the main menu and loading screens to 640x400? Its only ingame that takes effect of the resolution set in display settings.
