Looks good, but it looks a bit... vulnerable? It has those missile launchers sticking off of it and no tread protection, just doesn't seem quite like a "Heavy Assault Tank"
Now it does look like an Anti-Aircraft platform

You do know the mammoth tank from cnc 3 is the mammoth mk3 right?
Well it looks uh original, well t sure would take care of AA but then, now it might be bad against ground,
and for some reason in my mind, its the size of a SUV.

No more caution stripes? how sad. So something like this? It just seems so lifeless without them, but that's my opinion. This is the prototype after all.

As for CnC 3, I don't own it yet, but played the demo on x-box, it had cannons in it. Now if you like, When i get myself a copy, I could replace all the cannons in the game with banana catapults. as to why you consider cnc 3 non-cannon I have no idea.

Could you possibly make the missile pods on the left and right sides of the turret diagnol rather than vertical? The ones on the top look fine. I just think whats throwing it off is that it looks 'unbalanced/not very stream-lined' because of the rocket pods.

The tank looks too overloaded, maybe you should get rid of the missiles pods ont he side? Or maybe reduce them a bit. The the barrels look to long, maybe shorten them by 2-3 pixels/voxels. Nice texturing on the body.

I think the turret offset is the biggest problem. If the Turret stands forward it looks ok, but as soon as it turns, it seems to fall over its back.
Move the Turret more to the centre and shorten the barrels. Then it looks more balanced.
Something that i would like to see is, if you then make the turret in the back a bit longer and add 2 big Grenade launcher tubes standing with an angle of 45-60°.
If you then make the side Missile Pods more diagonal it could look really good imo.
I also don't like the Railgun-like barrels. IMO the first version was in this case better.
But since my modification proposals are quite extensive, i wouldn't bother if you leave it as it is now. The shape is just not my taste.

I fixed the offset. good idea with the mortars & angled missile luanchers. Thank you LKO, this should enhance it sinifigantly.

yeah bring the stripes back. also the gun barrels look a little too close together, it looks crowded and top heavy. I would widen the base a bit and increase the space between the gun barrels.

Well I felt that I should show you the actual Tank that I moddified to make the mammoth mk 3. There is a modified Mad dog in the picture as well as the "Hera" Ares. Hmm.. Well the three legger is one i'm already making. Just click the ARES MECH link on my siggy To see my current progress. as for the Vulture/ Maddog. I'm planning to make a smaller version of it. You can see an ingame screenshot of my current vulture voxel In My Hail-fire droid topic. so in short "already ahead of ya."

There's already been several Vultures/Maddogs that have been made. I can't recall who made the voxelized Vulture (I'm thinking El_Serpiente or CDMT?) and LKO recently made an SHP of it in the Christmas Mech Pack. So I guess if you really disliked them you could make your own.

Off Topic: Likewise, I haven't found their version around here though. Maybe I'm just blind. Also Mine was built around KLU's mad cat. so essentially all the credit would go to him. at lease to the chassis anyways. I may have completely made the torso myself, but I'm thinking that he would still get part credit for that as well, yes?
On Topic: Anyways, the new revamp is coming along nicely, it's far from being complete, but here is a preview. Thanks again for the various ideas everyone, I'm still training to figure out how to incorporate some of them though. i think you've misunderstood how the rocket packs should be diagonal.
If you look direct from front you should see them this way // ° ° \\ where //and\\ are the rocket packs and °° the barrels.
But now they look good too. Perhaps a bit unstable how they are now, connected only with a very small corner to the main turretbody. (you should move them 2 or more voxel downwards)
Maybe in the end 4 different versions?

Ok LKO & Corsair, I think understand now here is a quick throw together of the basic consept. So I'll refine it later.
Update: Ok Here is a quick render of V.4 as well so any new ideas are welcome. Aslo is it possible To Have both the primary weapon & seconary weapon upgradeable? I know you can with at least the primary weapon when it gets promoted. I still ave a few touchups to do on the turret as well.
Oh & Z, This will be devistational against everything exept infantry. At least untill it gets promoted. HE rounds To Incindiary rounds. That will be fixed In the updated rules for the unit though.Click to view attachment

now they look good. If you haven't done it, the turret could be a bit wider like Lightstorm already noted. But without the chassis it's hard to tell.
Btw, how do you made the rocketpacks diagonal (the voxel too)? Are they a seperate section? Are the normals still correct this way?

Yes I've widened the turret a bit, same with the barrels & chassis. Heck I even installed a winch on the front. The turret is three sections, I used the HVA editor toangle the missile salvos. Careful when you do that, some sections will overlap the wrong sections in game, making it look pretty awkward.
(I haven't tested it ingame though yet, sorry)

as for the reason, i'm just trying to restructure my little cornner of tibweb. to take up less space & be more user friendly. after all, it's quicker to go to one topic for multiple downloads than it is to go to multiple links for one download each.

He's right, it is from CnC 3, and I don't play it. (The CnC3 Mamoth Tank)
If you use the first one, it looks like it could be some kind of special artillery (if there was no turret, and the first was the whole voxel)
And the second one slightly has the turret of the Hover MLRS.
