A new version of 3ds2vxl, the program that converts 3dsmax files to usable TS voxels, has been released by its creator, ViPr.
The new version fixes a serious problem that occured when the model didn't have textures, and now it also has tooltips to help new users.

You can download 3ds2vxl from its website, and if you want to, you can comment on this release over at PPM.

Hmm, i need first a program to make 3ds files. Does anybody knows an free program to do that?
(sorry, bit off-topic)

I'm pretty sure 3ds2vxl only supports 3ds files saved by 3ds2max.

I think you can still get the demo version of 3ds max (regulars upwards of 2,000 USD I think) if you look hard enough.
