I would like some feedback on the looks and how I can make it better. I still need to add texture and camo but if anyone has any ideas let me know.
Here is the vxl:

All righty
I really like the design, I think you did a nice job on this one
I think you should move the remaps though, the lines on the wings just don't look that great ingame - Maybe move the remap to the pods over the center of the body, or make both of the wings and/or fins entirely remap, or perhaps just the tips of the wings and/or fins (maybe a little of everything
)
And yes... the size, I know it's a Heavy Gunship but the size is just too large in my opinion - The Orca's aren't even half its size, it just doesn't fit you know?
It looks great, it's just too large and the remaps are badly placed (in my opinion)

Your design is like a mix of the Orca and the Firehawk. Amazing.
May I suggest you also change the cockpit color to sky blue or black?

Very nice unit you have to post it in the finished voxels section.

i think all it needs is some texture and it's good to go. Also I'd change the color of the cockpit, it doesn't quite fit I think

Very nice unit you have to post it in the finished voxels section.
OFFTOPIC: Thats the point, its not finished. :wink2:
ONTOPIC: Nice design and well textured IMO, but I think you should move thew engines down below the wings, they look a little weird above the wing...
Good Work!!

heres a suggestion. if you make the cockpit smaller it could look like a real gunship since they are usually really big. and yeah the remap doesnt fit right. i agree with corsair, you should just make the engines all remap. but overall it looks great.

Well, I'm kind of glad he did resurface this
Has cdmt put the final voxel up for download anywhere, or did he replace the first model with the finished one on this topic and put it up for download?

now that you mention it, yeah it's actually kind of good for topic-bumpers to remind us of the community's work.

He's already moved the remaps months ago, he just hasn't put the finished voxel up for download from what I can tell

Well, first thing I came up with was that it was a "futurized" A-10 Warthog, which I liked, but it still lacks texture and details. For example, those cooling system holes don't look too real, it looks like they have putted black paint to it. Remove the first layer of voxels from where the hole should be, and then add black. It gives better illusion of a hole. Oh and, it doesn't make sense why the cooling system is located on the craft's wings
. Move them closer to the body.

hrmm... i think the wheels look a little out of place. theyre a bit big, and besides, dont GDI vehicles use VTOL engines? so they wouldnt have wheels, just little legs to rest on...

Looks cool, but the wheels need to be smaller and so does the whole thing, also texture but the overal design is cool and could make a cool unit.
