uhm.... so, I'm trying to edit Ghost Stalker, won't go in details, and I have done it, but... how the heck I get it in the game? I try to use XCC Mix editor, create Expand02.mix in the SUN folder, stuff rules.ini in, save and start the game. What am I doing wrong?

There's your problem - SHP's go in ecache##.mix, not expand##.mix (## being any number from 02 to 99).

If that fails to fix anything, post back, with art.ini code if you modified it at all.

Not working, I threw the rules.ini in ecache01.mix and nothing happened

Ok have you simply just done a rules edit? The rules.ini should be in your directry then, as thats one of the first the game looks for things. If it's a shp you have made like Creagor said, shps go in ecachexx.mix fules and voxels etc and other media go in exapndxx.mix. If you want to add the rules.ini to a mix files add it to an expand02.mix as the rules.ini in expand02 will be read over any rules in local.mix or expand01.mix.

Also Ghost Stalker with concrete armour tongue.gif oddness.

(I'm too lazy to check right now though)

He just made an ini-edit. The modified rules.ini can either go in the SUN directory on its own, or in an EXPAND##.MIX file (not ecache).

I think I know what you did wrong;
With the XCC MIX editor, you will have to compact the file, instead of saving it. Or else it won't work properly.

PS - Also beware: I have had a few issues with replacing old files (especially ini's) in my MIX files when using the MIX editor. The trick is to remove the old file, compact, insert the now one, then compact again.
