ZOMG I FINALLY got a chance to take a look at your map
(sorry again that it took so long)
...when you paged me in TS online I wanted to play it against you so we could both play it against eachother, but whn my game finished you were gone :-(
The summary:
The map has a few interesting triggers in it (i.e. the "shoot me" billboard), and they work fine.
however I can't quite find a real purpose for any of them...they are just "there"
why does lightning strike your mcv and damage it a little at the beginning of the game ?
most of the map layout is very flat, (not good), but I expect that you'll fix that later
also could use a little bit of lighting changes, light post locations put some alphalightposts by some of the buildings, or put 1 invisible light post in a fair-sized city to give it a city-like glow.
a bazillion bajillion shore & cliff errors, but you said yoou'd fix those as well.
The player-locations are a bit too close. If they're within EMP range of eachother it won't do. they could easily EMP a nod stealth, then mark all its buildins with waypints, or EMP em and go in with airpower as i did below vvv. the North side (the "new terrain") didn't have much of a purpose, though I didn't really feel an urge to go up and capture them (i guess i should have though, i hind-sight).
In Summary this map has a good play-value, but alot of the playing experience that you wanted to include wasn't relly needed as far as gamplay goes. Try reworking the triggers so that they are
1: easy to find (but not tooooo easy - the shoot-me billbord was a little too obvious.)
2: have a purpose as far as strategy
but it appears like you have a handle on the really important stuff as far as mapping, and it looks like you'll be able to perfect the stuff mentioned above with practice^^^.
I'd give this map another go-around and i bet you can make this one to turn out really spiffy

So here's the skirmish I did, my "European Adventure"
