QUOTE me too i never knew the story why i was fighting. the most important thing for me to know was, whats my target and how much weapons can i mount on my mech. I was the same way. All I cared about was how many PPCs I could mount on a mech. The story was just one of stupid bravado, greed and paranoia. I really like the mechs so far. It doesn't make sense for anyone to be complaining about re-colors. We are blessed to have someone actually care enough to make mechs for our use. The Daishi and Mad Cat will really work well in Tiberian Sun, since we can only mount two weapons on a mech at a time.

But only as long as the ETS mod isnt ready. Then we can have Third and Quaternary weapons and this way Mechs with Rockets,Cannons,MGs and Laser at the same time. QUOTE (Team Black @ Dec 8 2006, 08:49 PM) Dude I'm the 1000th viewer on this post! cool even if i think that those are mostly the same people. QUOTE (Team Black @ Dec 8 2006, 08:49 PM) are ALL these mechs going to be mechwarrior mechs then? not all, but the most of them.

W000000t Thanks for making my all time favorite Mech I mean , unbelievable man In case anyone doesn't want to find out/can't figure out, I just figured I would post FLH's for the Vulture/Mad Dog - My FLH's work pretty well, may need to be tweaked into position a little more though --Vulture-- PrimaryFireFLH=0,125,125 (I used machine guns) SecondaryFireFLH=0,100,200 (I used longe-range Hovermissiles) ------------

Do they only changed the name or are they 2 different mechs looking almost the same? QUOTE The Timberwolf is the Clan name for the mech. Named such by Clan Wolf.
The Madcat is the Inner Sphere name for the mech. It is named this way because, according to the tale, the Inner Sphere targeting systems couldn't decide if it was a Marauder or a Catapult when trying to classify it, so the MechWarriors started calling them Madcats. http://ars.userfriendly.org/cartoons/read....&tid=109860Battletech lifted some mechs from Robotech. In Robotech there was a mech called the Glaug Battle Pod which was called the Marauder in Battletech. In later versions of Mechwarrior like Mech Assault 2 for the XBOX it refers to different variants of the same mech. The only difference between the two is the weapons they mount. The Mad Cat is armed with dual PPCs as its primary weapon, while the Timber Wolf has dual Gauss Rifles.

QUOTE (Lin Kuei Ominae @ Dec 8 2006, 12:22 AM) and yes this-> ,is a very cool smilie (but do you also have on some smilies like this one, a white border at the edges?) I'm working on fixing that... I've removed the white boarder from half of the smilies so far, it's quite a pain in the ass (and time consuming job) with the animated ones.

QUOTE (Gosho @ Dec 10 2006, 01:28 PM) Lin, where do you find allt he time to create all these? They're all wonderful! i have a small production line in my basement where many little green manikin create them. no seriously, it doesnt took that much time, since i have optimized my work flow quite well. So it is possible for me to create 1 mech in 4-6 hours if i work nonstop. (but that doesn't happen very often, so it took me about 3-4 weeks for all the units) And again thanks to all, for their very good comments.

QUOTE (Lin Kuei Ominae @ Dec 6 2006, 11:38 PM) 1. i haven't enough mechs in the manual from my MW3 game (and to find pictures from all sides of a specific mech isn't easy) There are exactly 24 mechs in MW3 if you use the ones from the Pirates moon expansion. 25 though if you use the Elemental, my favorite 10 ton mech  Edit: Where is the Puma?! and the Avatar?! and of course the Elemental!
