QUOTE (adarius @ Dec 24 2006, 08:36 PM) I just noticed something....All of his Mechs are posted at about 5-6pm (for me) on the day before the door #. This might not be true to LKO, he might have posted them in the morning where ever he lives. Just thought I would share that with you guys. yeah, the thing with the timezones is quite tricky. For someone they came early, and for the other too late. I posted them between 0:00-1:00 o'clock in my timezone, because this way everyone can see them even in the early morning.

I was one of those lucky early ones. Being in Pacific Standard Time Rocks!!! I would only have to wait up about 11pm to see a new one. Thanks again for all the wonderful mechs LKO. If you do make that massive 125 ton mech though, it would probably make sense to change it to either a two legged or another four legged base instead of the awkward 3 legged one. That mech right now looks as if it might as well be an unmovable turret rather than a mech. The legs are too close together and too big for it to move very fast at all. It may as well jump everwhere like a pogo. I really like the last mech you made LKO it looks awesome. The concept reminds me of those armored personnel carriers that carry mortars. Only this one is massive and heavily armored. I think this calender was a great idea. I hope that you will continue to make shps every so often.

But why on Earth is the X-mech calender not Spotlighted?! The DvD made a news post about it on the new years but yeah maybe it should go into the spotlighted section?

True, true... I Personaly do not understand why this topic has not been spotlighted, i mean, those units are just awesome. I can not think of any other word to say it, the smaller ones are the best though in my opinion, what d'you think Corsair?

LKO did seem to add more detail to the smaller mechs (but that may just be because of their small size) So that's a big plus to me, I can't really say much about the larger mechs because I was never a fan of the larger mechs in Mechwarrior anyway - they are all really well done though (especially the vulture ) So yea, I'm a fan of the smaller to medium mechs (as well as the four legged artillery mech, that one's great!) I would check in once a day to see what awesome mech LKO was going to add next during Christmas break, and I must say this was one heck of a present

This is my favourite by far, i think it'd look awesome in my little mod project. But thats all gonna be on hold so i can map for TS:EE. Anyway, yeah your right, LKO sure knows how to please an SHP hungry crowd, i'd be happy to have LKO as a Tiberium Web secret santa anytime.

QUOTE (IcySon55 @ Feb 9 2007, 08:46 PM) Just a tiny note and add-on to this thread, the "Guerilla" mech is called Bushwacker in the English games. QUOTE (Lin Kuei Ominae @ Nov 28 2006, 04:42 PM) Door 21 the GDI Guerilla medium Mech (the english name is Bushwacker if you want you can rename the shp's and all corresponding names in art.ini and rules.ini to the english name) stood already there @ Corsair, Nods Viper thanks m8s You're right, Corsair. All mechs nearly had the same amount of details (in the 3dmodel). So just due to the smaller size the small ones seem to have a higher detail level. While we are already talking about that, did you noticed the update on the first post? There are some of the small ones fixed. The colossus was really a problem for me, because i didn't knew if it would fit in the mechwarrior series and if it would be accepted. I already thought about making the Tarantula in the last second, just to have a full MW list. But it's good to see that the Mechs are all liked. Nods Viper, maybe this isn't spotlighted because it makes problems with the various Links to this thread. Also it could be that they simply aren't worth to be spotlighted. I tend to agree the one on PPM, who said that some units miss some kind of AntiAliasing to be really good. In my case it doesn't stands out that much, because i play on 800x600 and this way the units aren't that big, but for someone this could really be a con. At least for me it's really a pleasure to see that this thread already has over 3600 views. (even if i think that 500+ are from me )btw Viper, the bump goes on icyson's cap and not tiberium bum(p). But i noticed him too. Anyway new members always tend to bump, so i forgive them (if they stop after a while).

@LKO: I tried what Judeau said, I it does give a better result, but still I got a very little small black outline in some places, not a lot; but it might be the result of a mistake by my part; also I got a shadow error. But nothing that wasn't a small fix; I'll send you a PM latter with the results. BTW, my favourite is the Daishi in GDI colors, but I also like a lot of the others.

QUOTE (Tiberium_Bum @ Feb 11 2007, 05:49 AM) !!! do you have a life !!! that is crazy Yes, he has a life, this was his Christmas present to us at Tiberiumweb QUOTE (Tiberium_Bum @ Feb 11 2007, 05:49 AM) you should do a mod of just all mechs (if you havent already). And you are only stating what everyone else has said, I would have thought you would have known that from all the bumps you have done on other topics
