I haven't thought about that. But i see some problems with the limited number of pictures you can post there in one thread.

I think it would be better to post there only a link to this forum. If i have to do some modifications/improvements on some mechs i dont have to edit them on 2 forums.
At least i do like TibWeb more than PPM :biggrin:

I think i'll make it his way: after christmas i post there a mech package with all mechs on PPM and a link to this forum for the preview pictures. And here i'll make the mech package too and insert it in the first post.

yes those were meant to be GDI and NOD logos
the GDI one was easy because of gold isnt remap
but the Nod one was a little bit work, because i had to edit each frame by hand to turn the remap red colors into non-remap red.
i hope they look good. due to the small size they cant be seen very well.

they are on the side of the rocketpacks. if you take a closer look on the Nod MadCat preview you can see a GDI gold remaped one with a small red logo on the side.

I have a question, that perhaps someone can answer me.
Where is the difference between the Timberwolf and the Mad Cat, i only wanted to know? Do they only changed the name or are they 2 different mechs looking almost the same?

The clan omnimech timberwolf Was designated as mad cat by the inner sphere. So in essence both names refer to the exact same mech Same with the the clan maddog being called vulture( my favorite mech by the way) Vary awsome collection of shp files you have LKO.

Also I Would like to say hello to everyone i'm new here to the forums & hopefully Will be posting some of my own voxels for the community soon.

vxl and hva you can simple add into the tiberian sun folder. But all calender-units are SHP! they need to be inserted in a ecacheXX.mix file where XX is an unused number. To insert the shp files in a mix file you need the "XCC Mix Editor" that is part of the XCC-Utilities.

Thx for the explanation LKO but I figured it all out by myself last night. Though I didn't know you could just put the VXL and HVA in the folder....I put those in the echache as well. w00t calender is almost done and I love all of these. But it being finished also means no more on the calender T.T

Question: Would you consider doing a special release Mech for Christmas Day? If so, can I PM you the Mech's name to make sure you havn't made it? Wouldn't want to ruin the surprise if you decide to do this! ^.^

Double release days Sweetness! There is no way I could make anything like these when it comes to .shp files very well done.

Constructive critisism: The supernova Mech Is quite nice, however were the legs realy that square? I just can't remember very well.

Most of what I've learned about the battletech universe I learned from this website. warhawk ppc I hope it is of some use to some of you out there.

i've got your PM, but i dont made this mech, sorry. The Christmas Mech is my very own Design and isn't any of the Mechs known from Mechwarrior.

I didn't knew that this one has a different name too. I thought Guerilla is international.

i only used the pictures from my MW3 Manual and there they were that square.

The "Black Hawk" looks very similar to a mech I know of by the name "Nova Cat". Maybe there is a name difference???

The Nova/black hawk, Super nova & nova cat Are three differant mechs with two similarities:
1.they're all eneregy based weapon mechs. The nova & supernova Are laser boat mechs, where as the nova cat focusess on PPC's (particle projetion cannon)

2.they're all clan mechs.

here is a pic. of a Vulture, Nova Cat, & Bushwacker by the way. Also a Black hawk cut out pic. Found it at Warhawk PPC. ( I'm just trying to share what I have learned my self so far so no offence intended)

no problem. perhaps they are much more detailed but no picture shows the legs this way. (remember the difference between the MadCat on the MW3 manual cover and inside; round legs on the cover and square one inside)

i already thought about that, but when i look on my smallest mechs, i think a battle armor is so small that you cant see any detail; only some spinning pixel.
