Thats the point, they don't want to just give custom ranks away. I got 500 posts in a forum in less than 4 months, so this shouldn't be too hard for me. Oh, and whats the new rank scheme? It goes: Technician, then Minigunner, and thats all i know.

Does a custom rank really matter?
The reason i joined these forums is just to talk about the games i love and chat about stuff. I have to say, i'm not too bothered about getting a custom rank. Sure, one would be quite cool. But I'm not really that fussed.

neither am I, but its sort of a pride thing. When i said I would reach it relitively quickly, i meant that i would be very active, not that i would try to durther my post count for the sole objective of a custom rank.

Edit: If you want a custom rank you need:

Maby, if you get 1500 posts, and you unload a great mod, or maby 10 spotlighted maps. Or some great VXLs, you know.... so basically...

You need 1500 posts.
You need to upload a great mod/ maps/ SHPs.


Or you could think of a good idea like this "Hint, Hint"

I don't really like that idea to much myself, I mean some people don't really have the skill to map or mod. Some people have simply joined this forum to talk about the games, me being one of them.

Custom Ranks at 1000, I love the sound of that. But I'm going to make it a point to take as long as I can to get there, that way I can feel that I earned it...

I TumSun i had account for nearly a year and oly got 950 and something... Lol.

And the ranks sound really good , better than at TumSun.

Soon i will have the pow... erm rank of Grenadier.. Buahahah!

i like having a lot of ranks. Its boring if there are gaps of a few hundred post between ranks, because then most people are the same rank, and thats no fun.

I have no problem with the current system, save for the Custom Rank part.

I agree with D2K. You should earn the right to a custom rank, or we will end up with (not mentioning any names here) people simply spamming for the rank.
