Problem:
How do i get the real games maps. I want to look at Tiberian Sun's (No expansion) first GDI mission. Can someone please give me the first GDI mission or tell me how to get it.
Question:
I am looking for how to make to spotlights look the same way but make them hit each other. For Example: The first GDI mission has spotlights like this at your base.

The singleplayer missions are located in 'maps01.mix', which can be found on the GDI disc. You can open MIX files with XCC Mixer and then open the map by right-clicking it and clicking 'Open in FinalSun', although you might have to extract the map first because XCC Mixer normally copies a map to the folder the MIX file is located in to open it in FinalSun (and since 'maps01.mix' is on a disc, this won't work).

I understand what you're trying to do with the lights and I believe I've done this myself in the past, but I'm afraid I forgot how (I think I might've used degrees for this, but on that map both light towers have 64 degrees selected). I just had a look at the map myself and it doesn't give away any clues on how to do this either for as far as I can see, but maybe I overlooked something.

I do have a an idea for a way you could achieve this anyway, but it's probably a little more complicated than how it was done on that map (and likely also a bit less practical):
Crate a trigger which is attached to 1 of the light tower and have it turn the building offline right when the game starts (use '08 Any event' as the event for this) and then have it turn the light tower back on again a little later. So you'll have to time it exactly right to make it look like the lights of the 2 light towers move synchronized, but mirrored.

Someone else might come along with a simpler solution soon however.

I hope this is the way you want it to look... Just look and read the pics. The pics were taken with Tiberian Odyssey installed (a mod I'm working on), so that's why the ground's a bit different (clickable link if you're curious tongue.gif).

I think it's an automatic thing, if you have 2 light towers nearby each other their light movement will be opposite (meaning one will got left to right, while the other is doing right to left and vice versa). I've never had any trouble getting light towers to do this and it also works with them set to circle direction.
