Is there a patch for the random TD freezes when playing the First Decade version on XP? I've turned off advanced text and replaced the .dll, but still nothing. It freezes when certain units reach the top of the screen. Any tips? Would downloading the freeware version solve the issue?

I did something wrong. I didn't mean to, but I replaced the original launcher with one with the updated .exe, and now it doesn't start. I can't even repair it. Help!

What do you mean with "I can't repair it"? If you can uninstall it, make a backup your savegames (afaik the files in the TD directory that have a .sav extension), uninstall TD and then install it again.

I completely uninstalled TD by erasing the folder after uninstalling with TFD, then I reinstalled. It's still screwed up. What's going on here?

EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it by system restoring. It seemed like using a WMD on an ant hill, but that's what I had to do.

Anyway, to make a long story short, the patches provided worked like a charm, thank you very much! =)
