His new computer!
So far, I only have this:
Gigabyte motherboard
AMD Athlon 5200+ (it came with the motherboard for 104 USD, so i went with it)
2GB DDR2 800MHz ram
Raidmax Sirius Case

I am waiting on this:
GeForce 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition (dual 8800GTX SLI if I have the money)
2 Seagate 500gb hard drives
Liquid Cooling System

The reason I can't get the last two items is I spent my money on a Sidekick III, and a Panasonic 61" TV system (1080i biggrin.gif) [yes, pictures will come very soon. biggrin.gif)

once i get the rest of the money, I'll finish up the rest of the computer.

since you havent bought the liquid cooling system yet, let me warn ya
DO NOT: Buy Thermaltake, Gigabyte, Koolance or any other watercooling kits. They are either of crappy quality, utilising multiple metal types (corrosion), are overpriced, or any possible combination of those things.
PM me with a budget and i'll configure a nice set for ya.

Whenever the topic of computer cooling comes up my thoughts go to this image,

I truly don't know why.

lol.

so far, it's looking like I might not get a liquid cooling system until MUCH later. I don't run my computers too hard, so they should be fine with the sh*tload of fans i'm putting in for now.

I'm going to go ahead and spend the money on dual GeForce 8800GT Alpha Dog Editions.

go right ahead. unlike 8800GT's, watercooling doesnt decrease in value overtime, especially since the 9-series is just around the corner wink1.gif

Most of the components look good but I'm seeing complaints about the case that it's flimsily built behind all the flashy designs. Here's hoping it's not too much trouble for you. I'm also noticing you didn't mention what power supply you'll be using, since that case does not come with one.

(dual 8800GTX SLI if I have the money)

No, no, and no. The minor performance gain isn't worth spending twice as much on, and not every game plays nice with multiple GPU setups. Stick with a single 8800 GT (I believe that's the Alpha Dog Edition you mentioned) and use the money you save on other components of higher quality (or even go ahead and slap together some liquid cooling with the saved cash, Chiel can put together a bitching cooling system for you in text if he used the extra cash you'd have from not doing GTX SLI as the cooling budget, which would be a VERY large chunk of change; in fact after some simple calculations I've determined that if you used 2 of Newegg's cheapest retail GTXes [eVGAs], it would cost $819.98 without tax, meaning choosing a single XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition would save you $578.66 without tax, and you wouldn't suffer much performance-wise).

Panasonic 61" TV system (1080i biggrin.gif )

Screw 1080i. 1080p is so much better if you can find any 1080p programming, and I imagine FiOS TV has some. tongue.gif

I nearly had an orgasm. o.O

Lol, have you tried connecting it to the new PC and playing on that? Or are you not able to?

Not yet. I don't have a video card. EVERY BIT of money is going to our new house right now. I have to walk to school because i'm out of gas and can't afford to put any in. The house is huge though, and has a big ass back yard with a pool and hot tub. Also has a built-in grill and patio, and a waterfall. It's gorgeous. When we move in, I'll definitely get pics up. I have pics of the TV, as well as my new car, on my phone, i'm just too lazy to hook it to the computer... that and I can't find the cord xD

hahaha.
anyway, if you want some more cheapo watercooling, let me recommend the Swiftech H20-220 compact, the only kit that's actually worth the money. (140$ at the egg)
