Copy/Pasting VXLs? Options

Now since this forum is open to post topics in again, and I mean this one in particular, not it's sub forums above, I thought this would be the best place to put this question referring to VXLs...

My question is... Is it possible to fully do a copy/paste of a voxel onto another voxel? I have some ideas on what to use, but I don't know how it can be done, if it's possible.

if you hit ctrl c, it'll copy the layer of the voxel being displayed. You can go back and forth between 2 models, pasting layer by layer till you get what you want.

I didn't know that... So, basicaly I select the layer I wish to copy... Hit the copy thing, open the voxel I want to paste it to, and hit paste, with the edits of fixing anything to put it in the spot I want?
