WARNING: SEVERE SPOILERS BELOW
So, as you would have probably guessed by now, I just got back from seeing I Am Legend. I'm not usually a fan of Will Smith, except in I Robot and Men In Black. I hadnt seen anything about the movie except for the commercial with the lions killing the deer, and such. The movie picks up pretty slow, with Smith driving a Mustang through the deserted streets of New York, with plants and wildlife spreading all over the once densely populated city. It takes a while for the action to pick up, and even longer to figure out the whole story behind why the hell everyones dead. The movie gets... "good", I guess, right when Wills dog, Sam, chases a deer they were following into a very dark building along the street. Will freaks out, and trys to follow Sam. This part is really, realyl suspensful, because I had already really gotten attached to Sam. I didnt care about Will Smith dying a horrible death, I just wanted Sam to stay alive. Anyway, after a close encounter with a freakishly mutated zombie-person, Will and Sam escape back to their home, right as the sun sets. It now becomes apparent that all of the zombies come out of hiding at night and wreak havoc across the city. The next day Will gets up, has breakfast, and Sam does some more Heart-Bustingly Charming sh*t. I'll let you see the rest of the movie yourself. The only thing about this movie I really didnt like was when Sam died such a horrbile, gut wrenching death. He was the only good character in the movie and they just had to take him away. A good movie, except for the ending, which was pretty atypical to the rest of the movies pace.
In closing, the I thought the movie was really good. Just dont go on a full bladder. *in Adam Sesslers voice* A 4... Out of Fiiiiiive.
