I will resume this project. Size: 120x90 Planned PLayers: 4 Neutal units: Yes. Triggers: Maybe. The story (again) Midgard is a realm in Norse mythology. Pictured as placed somewhere in the middle of Yggdrasil, Midgard is surrounded by a world of water or ocean, which is impassable. The ocean is inhabited by the great sea serpent Jormungand, who is so huge that he encircles the world entirely, grasping his own tail. In Norse mythology, Miðgarðr became applied to the wall around the world that the gods constructed from the eyebrows of the giant Ymir as a defence against the Jotuns who lived in Jotunheim, west of Mannheim, "the home of men," a word used to refer to the entire world (there is no direct relation to the German city of Mannheim, which is attested from the 8th century, named after an early settler called Manno). It is depicted as an intermediate world between heaven (Asgard) and hell (Niflheim or Hel). Thus it is part of a triad of upper (Heaven), middle (Earth), and lower (Underworld). It was said to have been formed from the flesh and blood of Ymir, his flesh constituting the land and his blood the oceans, and was connected to Asgard by the Bifrost Bridge, guarded by Heimdall. According to the Eddas, Midgard will be destroyed in Ragnarok, the battle at the end of the world. Jormungand will arise from the ocean, poisoning the land and sea with his venom and causing the sea to rear up and lash against the land. The final battle will take place on the plain of Vigrond, following which Midgard and almost all life on it will be destroyed, with the earth sinking into the sea. oh please look at the old topic: http://www.tiberiumweb.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1306 EDIT: Don't worry I will be editing that River.

I like the city pretty much, add more of the random pavement, the ones with things on, the ones beside the parking spots. It looks very good!

its coming along nicely it seems. i can tell your getting better.
but one question.....why did you make another thread for this? cause not that far down the list i see "FS Midgard's Return! WIP"
was it because you didnt want to triple post? cause if you have an update then go ahead and post even if you have posted before it and no one has responded (at least give 2 days though if the post you made first was an update and you want to show another update as that gives time for people to actually look through the forums and see it by chance). Its not really bad if your adding to the thread by showing updates.

Yeah, Ixith, however Tore did this by accident he told me. Perhaps merged together? Anyways, the screens look nice, but have routes through your map.

Ok here's a review for you tore. 1st screenie: I think you should make those very dim red light posts not look blocky. And also with the bridge where it breaks make it look broken instead of it looking straight at the end (but if you have removed the airfield.. Then just ignore this one. Apart from the bridge of course) 2nd screenie: that cliff is too repeated. Make it more randomy and also, you seem to like putting refinerys around don't you? The only problem with that though is if you play it online and you've just destroyed someones refinery they could just send an engineer into a refinery and that would be bad. But that won't really be a problem if you don't play it online 3rd screenie: I don't really have a problem with this screen. Apart from the hills look a bit repeated but only a BIT 4th screenie: I have no problem with this screen at all. 5th screenie: Read the refinery part of 2nd screenie..

I don't the lighting, it's way too grey and it's boring and killing my eyes.
But the eye candy looks good.

Know this is a late response Hva jeg mener, er at belysninga er farveløs. The lighting is colourless.

Actually, I'm really liking this! There is just something about it in the most recent previews that give it a great feeling. It reminds me of classic, WestWood maps. The Detailing Isn't great, but it doesn't have to be too great to give a map a good feeling! I personally think the lighting is fine, Remind's me of my first spotlight, Hazardous Crevice. Keep It up, Buddy! :
