why do you play such ugly maps!? I thought if everyone has the same map already on the pc, the transfer limit for maps doesn't matter.

I guess you like CAs because of the new base you've set up far away using a CA and an MCV.

Anyway a nice match, even if the vid was a bit fast. Even bigger fights last only 2 seconds and the screen switched from one place to another every second.

IIRC, top-quality maps cause enormous lag among the players.

About the video, it seems like you guys had a fun match. I like the way the blue player uses his/her firestorm wall to hush the Banshees away tongue.gif

Yeah, for a fast 8 player TS game, you have to make some sacrifices.. XWIS won't transfer the map if it's a big map file..
most "xwis" maps are no bigger than 50 KB.
I'm of ways to get good maps on xwis, which was a big reason why I put together the Massive Map Pack (which I posted on the Strike-team forums)
In the future I might ask em if they could promote mods and stuff right on XWIS, so we can get some quality stuff out to the TS Online commmunity..

Nevertheless, it's still very fun to play, despite the flat rock maps you see all the time
