Alright, so my friend's mum has a massive lump in her stomach, the size of a small baby, though it's no cancer. She's been acting very unfair to my friend (Jack) Eg:

Jack: Can i go on the computer
Mum: No
Jack: Why?
Mum: Cause i said so.

All this carries on with TV, going out ect.

So he's gone to Croydon, with £25 and his phone. He persuaded two of his (gypsy) friends to come with him. Someone really needs to slap some sence into that twat. He didn't do it when his mum was there, she was in Devon visiting her mum.

Just needed to get this out. He's answered one phone call, and is angry with my other friend Charlie for telling. But i was on MSN to him. He says he'd rather be a better friend to him by saving his life. He's being questioned by the Police. Any advice would be appreciated.

I guess i needed to blurt this out somewhere... unsure.gif

Hey I understand your wanting to let it out somewhere, myself I don't mind this post one bit.
It's tough with situations like these, especially at your age, where people want to take their lives into their own hands, but aren't equipped to do it yet - heck, I'm hardly equipped and I have a good job and out of high school. My car breaks down, and I need to borrow my mom's to get where I need to go.

I remember back in high school, I had a lot of friends like that, who would call me up about their friend who was considering suicide, or went to the hospital after cutting themselves. It's frustrating not knowing what to do or say, but the important thing is to not get too involved, as you might find yourself being dragged into their problems, as I was a few times with my friends.
i felt the need to empathize with em, and it put me in a depressed rut, since there wasn't really anything I could do for em. The best thing now is for them is to hope they learn from their mistakes the first time around..

Yeah, the police found him and made him come back. To be honest, these kind of people are really annoying me. If he cam back covered in blood, i would care deeply, but inside i would know it was his fault.

Thanks, just had to get this out somewhere i suppose. sad.gif

EDIT:

I guess, knowing him, there is a small chance that he will try and act all 'hard'. His situation might just get worse. He's the sort of guy who NEVER learns from him mistakes.

EDIT 2:
Just found out he wasn't in Croydon, but all the way in North London blink.gif. In a very rough area as well.... confused.gif

Get into some kind of contact with that, moron and tell him to go the f*ck home!
Running away from home isn't big or clever, it just causes problems. I've ran away from home 3 times in total, either because I was in huge trouble for something i'd done, or I just needed time away from the family (I'm not going to bring out my family issues as i'll start a rant). The bottom line is, all that's going to end up happening, is that the police are going to get involved, they'll be even more problems at home for the kid, and it's not going to solve a DAMN thing.
Tell him to stop being stupid; Stop, think and go home!
