Do any of you guys know a good program for making background music for rap and such?
Like simple rythms.

My friend and I have written some songs and now all we need is music.
Help please tongue.gif

Acid Music or Reason would be fine.

If you like messing around with .wav files, there's a couple I like to use, in order of best to worst:

-Audacity (I haven't used this yet, but it has all the features of the stuff below and it's better)

-Creative Wave Studio (shows entire sound as a timeline, easier to select stuff)

-Sound Recorder (this one's free--it's already every PC, as far as I know)

-WinDat (can control speed of the song however you like, rather than in 25% incriments)

I used Sound Recorder to make a smash up of Super Mario bros and Scouting from Tiberian Sun
I posted it in the Graphics Fridge in the old forums if you want to check it out, though when I have some time I'm going to make a better one

I don't think I even answered your question, oops. Well, I hope this stuff helps anyway

Fruity loops, it's a good program.
In the start hard, but after a while, you know how to handle it.

Ah, fruity loops. My friend has that one, though it doesn't run on my Windows 98
That program rocks.
