but yeah as much as i like the scrin i think the mutants are cooler as they steal tech from the other factions and use it and they can really be a group to deal with. and i have to agree its fun putting them on maps and stuff so yeah.......

Scrin due to completly open side for what they look like and their true tech who knows maybe that scrin ship that GDI now has is just a old peice of junk that they don't need any more. Possible yes?

.. Where do you figure that?

The Mammoth Mk II is just a heavy mech with railguns + missiles, fully human tech, as are Disruptors, which are simply sonic tanks.

I'm not completely sure on the tech, but I believe it uses a certain frequency of sound and shakes stuff apart.

Needless to say, that DOES sound cheesy, even to me, so that could be wrong..

We call it as harmonic resonance. It can be conducted in reality, albeit very difficult. You have to create a soundwave that vibrates at the natural vibrating frequency of an object, say, glass (all objects have their own specific frequency when vibrated). Resonance forces matter in objects to shake at maximum amplitude, ending the object in pieces. Interesting, huh?
