I want to ask, if someone else (especially the shp'er) noticed, that shp units can't be bigger than 160x160pixel?
And does someone knows a way to make bigger shp units work ingame?

Every time i make a unit bigger than 160x160 pixel, the unit is truncated at this point ingame.

hmm.gif I'll have to check this, as I remember that I made an even bigger version of my leviathan (RO's ultimate mech), bigger than 160x160. I'll post the ressults later (as I have to find, or remake the bigger version tongue.gif).
Also the Core Defender is bigger, it's 145x189, maybe your problem could be fixed by the Core Defender's specific tag tongue.gif, which is another thing that I'll have to check lol.gif

the dimension of the shp can be bigger than 160x160 pixel
but if the visible part of the unit is bigger than 160 pixel, it is truncated. (this is comparable to vxl units bigger than 255 voxel)

afaik the coredefender tag only changes the selection box and makes the unit invulnerable to emp effects.
And the coredefender itself is only about 95 pixel high, so he doesn't come to the limit.

I'm afraid you can't make SHP units bigger than 160x160 pixels. What you can do is to make a building bigger than that. And since your ship has three main turrets, I say that you should divide the thing into three buildings, using the RA2 trick. Then each one of the three buildings can have one turret. It's a good idea if you plan to use it in single player missions.

Buildings aren't a problem. They can be bigger than 160x160 pixel. Only units make problems.

Probably because the mechs are in two sections, legs and torso, rather than one thing like the destroyer.

And the Coredefender is far from reaching the limit of 160x160 pixel. It's only 95 pixel high.

Well, I didn't quite mean it like that. The Torso can add a good 80 more pixels in height on already 90 pixel high legs but the turrets on the destroyer really don't add much height to it, which is all I was saying. However, I really don't know much about SHP structuring but I can try to help anyway tongue.gif
