I'm sure a lot of you are keeping up with this anyway but I'll post just to attract some more attention. Within the next three hours or so, the powers that be have so kindly decided to release the Red Alert: A Path Beyond beta early (despite the fact it was ready ten hours ago). Regarding CLIENT:
Mirrors will be posted here on the front page edited in, and then added to a rotator to help make sure no one mirror is hit too hard when I have a chance.
We have made several changes to the default key setup, we HIGHLY suggest you use the defaults and then go from there. They are more in line with Source-based games and have additional considerations made. You might wish to review your extended keyboard setup and graphics settings before playing for the first time, both by standards means and by the included configuration tools and the in-engine BHS.dll configuration dialogs. The manual included with the installer has additional details.

Regarding XFIRE: Xfire currently interferes with APB Beta, and we're not special enough for an immediate update to address this. It is coming in approximately 2 weeks, we've been told.
Until then, disable Xfire integration, do not run Xfire while you play, or change your rendering settings to Dx9. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Regarding HOSTS: To join the official server, pleast configure a setup with APBIP to point to 208.101.57.18:9999 with no password. This is the official server. Should there be too much traffic, a second official server will be made available.

If you're never played before, you might want to read the manual, which should explain a lot. There are some other random new features so it might be worth skimming through regardless.
