Mod Music, can't just keep the old stuff Options

i say we need new music for the mod. now i figure we can make a list of all the music we think we should put in the mod. after we get say 20 songs we can go through and pick the best ones, also please provide a link to where we can listen to the music.

here are my suggestions:
Over My Head (from Titan AE)
Cosmic castaway (from Titan AE)
Prayer for a Refugee (Rise Against)
Ready to Fall (Rise Against)
Dancing For Rain (Rise Against)

aren't those under a certain copyright?
But what we can do is collect music from all other C&C-titles.
Also they should be instrumentals. So you can better hear EVA/Cabal or the units voice. Just some cool background music.

Since that is something that takes a lot of space, i would recommend this just as a kind of plugin. Nothing really implemented in the mod.

Well I was kind of leaning towards instrumentals. I got a "Best of CNC" mix that I made a while ago -- too big to upload though...

Oooh, I like the Titan AE music, Lit and Electrasy, I don't think they're around anymore.
Maybe we can find some DJ's that'd like to make some music. I'm thinking of something like really hard trance.

Like the dota song (Vi sitter by Basshunter) we can make one for CnC and not some Blizzard game like WC

OMG, we should get Yokko Kano. She makes the music for Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop to name a few. And her songs do have lyrics but it's only at the start and possibly end, unless it's the intro or credits song XD

There are two remakes on Newgrounds of Hell March and Act on Instinct. But, instrumentals should be the standard. I really think that we need to find someone who is good with sound and music makers, and should just mix up some of their own tunes for it. I'm actually getting a video camera and the first Idea that popped into my mind was, "OH! I could make the Breifing scenes for the mods!" BEcause that was on major element the mods were missing. Especially the story based ones.

Edit:No, please for the sake of all that is KANE! NO groups that make anime music! My freinds are anime lovers, and the only time I get to listen to anything OTHER THAN anime music IS from 5 PM to 10 PM. I know that seems like alot, but The music gets to me after awhile. I hate it as much as I hate Christmas Carols/Songs. I get too much!

Note:I'm not trying to offend and or insult anyone's thinking or idea, but I just noticed the Anime and plus, it needs to sound like a Dave Klepacki tune, not techno, I want KLEPACKI MUSIC! Since its so good, I made my genre, Klepacki!

Sorry about that, my brother got on the computer without me knowing while I was in the shower, most of that isn't true, except for hating Christmas Music......But yeah, he makes a valid point at the bottom. Its not CnC or a CnC Mod without Frank Klepacki music.

Well, my younger brother does have good taste. He listens to Classic Rock, blues, jazz and techno. He shuns any music associated with anime. Not the AMV, the actual themes or bands that make the music.

In a way, I agree, but in another way....I don't wanna get banned.....
