you can ask on ppm, but the answer is without much doubt the same: no it's not possible.
the reason is, that in the moment the anim is played, the anim doesn't has any information about the direction of the wall nor the projectile.
It is just an explosion anim and as every other explosion too, you can't have facing specific explosions.
The only chance to make a direction specific anim would be to add an active anim to the wall itself. But then it's played all over the time.
Another quite crazy idea that just came in my mind is,
give every firestorm wall a weapon with damage=0, that has your facing specific anim as firinganim. Then the wall plays the firing anim of e.g. a blue transparent shield effect every time an enemy is near.
Even if it isn't played as the anim for blocking projectiles and stuff, i think this could look really cool.
