Not sure about that. The TS community part has quieted down, especially in the wanting new maps demand. Mainly because most of the mappers are working for mods or have gone inactive though.
But anyways, slowly but surely progress is continuing.
Map Info:
Map Name: Undecided right now. But it's WIP name is Island of Mercanf. Though I think it will change but will have Island somewhere in it.
Size: 100X100
Players: 2-3 (of course!)
Current amount of money on map: 127655 (and this amount will still increase as I have one or two tib fields still left to place for one of the players.)
Triggers so far: None but you can count on the day/night loop and maybe a couple moving vehicles. Though triggers have the possibility of getting much more extensive on this map.
Story: The area, now devastated, was once under Nod control. However, a faction of the Forgotten wanting to get out of Nod's control gathered and struck the Nod base. The attack was successful and left the Nod base under the Forgotten's control. With the equipment they scavenged from the remains they set up base on the coastal island of Mercanf* which was used by GDI in the previous War as a staging base. The area, however, is a very strategic area for tiberium harvesting and access point from the Ocean.
