Expansion pack Options

well having just finished the scrin campaign i can safely say that they are banking HEAVILY on the expansion pack, it seems to end unfinished with the GDI/nod campaigns and the scrin basically said WE'LL BE BACK!! at the end. so there is probably already an expansion pack in the works.

(also i find it ironic that you never see the Southwest USA, since thats where most of TS took place)

If I recall correctly (and the IP lookup is right), then Chielscape is Dutch. He might be quite proud to be Dutch and part of Europe so why should somebody else tell him to shut up for that belief?

I think that we'll see CABAL in a expansion pack, as the data suggesting his destruction is not conclusive; and why Kane doesn't have his mask/ metal plate on his face? he could be a clone, or something like that (what we see at the end of firestorm)

Well, my point is that EA has given those unclear messages to avoid to give too much information about an expansion pack; but anyways I could be wrong

Too bad Firestorm was completely ignored when they made TW, so the idea that he was cloned was most likely not included (due to the fact that he was cloned at the end of FS)

EA literally removed Firestorm from the scene because of 'poor sales'. So they just went from TS => TW, leaving Firestorm out completely.
Also, because of this, CABAL never went batsh*t insane, (because well, firestorm's storyline isn't being used) so he's most likely not going to be in ANY expansion. (and if he was, EA would have to butcher the storyline some more so that it would all make sence)
Therefore, Kane was never cloned, he just seemed to miraculously survive getting stabbed in the chest and getting pwned.
Also, the most likely extra side in the expansion is probably going to be the Forgotten (who EA already made to look like savage crazies living in Red Zones.

Also, that brings me to my second point, Forgotten is gonna look like sh*t if they put them in a expansion.
Because FS was ignored, the fact of Tratos getting killed didn't happen. Yet he was a wise leader, and was one of the few people knowledgeable of tiberium. So...
If he didn't die, then the Mutants would still be a fairly powerful organization (small, but powerful). The GDI would still be allies with the Mutants (because of Tratos' knowledge of tiberium and its effects) and they would have no need Retreating to Red Zones (I can understand them living in Yellow Zones, due to the human population still fearing the 'shiners', they would be pushed out of Blue Zones).
The fact that EA screwed up every aspect of this game is just pissing me off more every second.
I'm not bashing the game completely, the gameplay is freaking good, the user interface is easy to learn, but the storyline got raped by the conglomerate that is EA.

its designed to be a PVP game, they made it easy to play online and just stuck the campaign cause they had to, thats what modders are for though

Your source, Please. Westwood probably could've made 4 expansion packs chock full of B-grade FMVs and make TS half decent with all the concepts they dumped, but they didnt. Why? They didnt like TS much either. Gee, After being stuck in Development Hell for god knows how long, being disliked by many, I wonder why Westwood wanted to get Beyond Tiberian Sun. Its like passing a Kidney stone, you do not want to dwell on horrors like that.

Kawai, dude. They did not ignore the Firestorm storyline. As much as you want to believe EA is evil and ignoring FS for the lulz, they are not. Ever hear of the Juggernaut? The Avatar is disturbingly similar to the Core Defender, and EA mentions the Firestorm storyline in the documents they published. Stop being dilusional. :sleep:

Yeah, they did leave some Easter eggs in for us, (such as the Titan and the Mammoth MK II wrecked on the map : Rocktagon)

Oh, and if the Expansion pack is the same storyline (I.E Aliens invade again) I wont be buying it... Im already pretty bored with C&C3 itself...
