Should we get a Red Alert 1 (at least) Forum, Vote here Options

Well,here it is,Ive been a long time fan of red alert 1,even after 8 or so years,And I'm just trying to get a forum for the red alert 1 fanatics to discuess mods,campaigns,maps,missions,anything you want. This is just a suggestion.

I don't want a RA section , but i like RA so i didn't vote the last one. If this is Tiberiumweb , why would we need a RA section? At least not for now.

Most other Red Alert 1 sites are dead,And I think we would brighten a few peoples days if we opened up a red alert 1 side forum.

Interestingly enough the staff have been discussing this in the teachers lounge for a while now. No definite decision has been made yet though.

I am against this Idea. The URL for this site is www.tiberiumweb.com It wouldn't be right to have RA1 here. I know its been confirmed to be part of the tiberium timeline and all, but I dont think its close enough to be counted here.

No, there is no need for an RA forum. Don't get me wrong, I love RA and RA2 (mainly RA2 because it was the first CnC I ever played). But this site is called TiberiumWeb, and if it ain't got Tiberium it shouldn't be on this part of the web.

Well, RA1 is actually the origin of the tiberium series, where RA2 is just one huge plothole which shouldn't have existed. TD, RA and TS where made by Westwood Vegas and in my opinion thease are the only true C&C's. After TS (Firestorm) was released, Westwood Pacific (now EA Pacific) took over and started messing up the timeline (when they first made RA2, denied that the tiberium and red alert universes were connected, though they're finally giving in now). I'm not saying Westwood Pacific's C&C's nessesarily suck, but if you look at the C&C's released by them (RA2, Renegade, Generals and in the future also C&C3), you notice that in all of them the storyline is twisted and changed (though Generals isn't even part of the C&C story).

Anyway, by adding RA1, all C&C's made by Westwood Vegas (all true C&C's, the ones which actually stick to the story without twisting it) 'd be hosted, Including the C&C with which it (storywise) all started; Red Alert.

Another reason to add it would be because we could change the TD forum into a classic forum in which RA and TD are discussed. This way the (then former) TD forum 'll become a bit more active.

as much as I like the RA story line (to an extent) this forum is dedicated to the Tiberium one. That meens nothing here except in general or C&C chat or if your giving examples on a paralell nothing of the RA series can be in here

Anyway, the reason I'd like an RA forum is mostly because we're hosting all true C&C's but one right now, so hosting RA aswel would make it complete.

It's like it'd be that kind of drastic change anyway... If the TD forum 'd just be renamed to the Classic forum, which'd include both RA and TD, RA won't even look out of place. As an addition to that the classic forum 'd also become a little less dead than the TD forum is now.

Except that the site has TD, TS, and TW sections, not Classic, TS, and TW sections.
Plus, its TiberiumWeb, and even though RA is connected, it is not directly related to Tiberium.

Or Black Hawk. He has some ideas for making a site for CnC. All games. So from the first CnC till Renagade till CnC3

I don't think it's really a great idea, this forum is made for the tiberian series (see the 'Tiberium' in it's name ), not for the RA series. And in my opinion a RA forum would be kinda out of place. And there aren't that many Red Alert-fans out here, are there? If you want to discuss something Red Alert-ish, discuss it in general discussion or somewhere like that. And that's my opinion.

I think there should really be a RA subforum, if only under general discussion. I've never really liked what I saw of ppm, and since quite a few people here want a RA1 subforum, and it is the source of the tiberian sun timeline, there might as well be one.

Threads in general disc are never the same...

Following the original C&C storyline, there isn't even a Red Alert series; just one Red Alert, which is Red Alert 1.

Tell me, what harm could possibly be done when the TD forum 'd be changed to a classic forum, hosting both RA and TD?
