30 more minutes until i have the demo, woot. Too bad I have to leave for school in 10 mins so I wont get to play it until the 'sarvo. Bugger once again.

I played TW for a while and I gotta say the Brutal AI is just impossible to defeat (I challenge anyone to try ).
The Super Weapons in TW screw everything up and when playing on Hard the AI sometimes isn't very smart either.. When I was playing the AI build an outpost with 2 refineries and a temple of Nod with no defenses whatsoever. When I suddenly heard a warning Nod built a Temple of Nod and saw the Nuke countdown I thought I was screwed, until I found the whereabouts of that Temple of Nod.

I think TW plays very much like Generals and the garrisoning even more annoying in TW.

The gameplay isn't too bad really (though the SW's really screw it up and I'm still disliking the multiple factories), but I don't think it makes up for everything EA screwed with the story and I haven't changed my mind about TW not being a worthy C&C and I still don't think it's worth buying.

I seriously see it as generals disguised as a Td sequel. I don't like it at all. Its made even worse by the fact that my rig doesn't even meet the system requirements (oddly, it still plays fine) and thusly I have to set everything to low so that it actually looks worse than when i play generals.

Believe it or not. They're stealth generators... But they're called Disruption Towers now, i think

this is not what i'm waiting for, this is a game made for rushers and all the rest is being left out in the cold. no wonder there talking about 15-20 min games it gets boring if u take to long. i'll get the game for the singleplayer, but other then that it will rot like Gens is doing.

I think in about 5 years I'll see this game in a dusty old case in some used game store for $5. I might think about buying it then.

If it's like TS, just do crtl+C to take an ingame screenie. It then saves the pic as a pcx in the game dirctory. For TS you'll need the xcc mixer to open em...
Or, do prnt scrn, then ALT+TAB to minimize the game. go into paint, paste the screenshot and save it. go ALT TAB again to go back to the game.

o CRAP I got 10 mins out of it!! :woot:
I took prnt scrns of it every minute, this is the farthest I got. I made 6 avatars, each with a beam cannon attached, sent them out of my base....and error.
But that's the most I've gotten so far out of the CNC3 demo, so I'm happy (to see that SOMETHING is happening for all the time spent downloading it)

Look at my nooby graphics card, it can hardly support the minimum graphic settings in the game
Also I uploaded another pic from the intro movie; the nod nuke in flight

ummm when i click on the demo short cut the title box pops up for 2 seconds and nothig happens help!

Not a bad game from the looks of the demo, but not the best either. Pity it has quite a few bugs and restarts my pc after a random lenght of time regardless of what it is doing, (from splash screen to 2 hours later).

Unlucky man, there may be a solution over at the EA official forums but most of the tech support questions go unanswered, (typical EA)

then, have you also found out how to increase starting cash? cant find tag anywhere.

don't know but the airbase is very unNod like. Blocky and excessive instead of conservative and covert.
