Well I have a snow day today and I made this nice little mod for Nod Yes I use TibEd why I dont care but can someone tell me how to add a building using TibEd cause I copied the obelisk as a railgun tower and it didn't show up and I set all the options and nothin But heres the mod.. it contains >Chemical Strike...This mod requires firestorm...The Chemical Strike is a new unit that has a small bug at firing chemical missiles 100,000,000 of them in a second...WARNING:CAUSES SUPER LAG >Laser Wheel...Only at start of game...This unit has an obelisk cannon on it >Mobile Refinery...Need Credits send this to the near by tiberium field >Ion Cannon Hack HQ...Deploy this and you have the ion cannon at your finger tips >Vertigo...This aircraft is an upgraded version of the banshee and has unlimted ammo USE WISELY!!! Plz respond and help with the building problem B23

Hey I remember a 'nod mod' once...a loooong time ago. The only changes it made were: -pyro infantry (mutant with flame thrower) -chem spray tank, with image of weedeater. It had limited ammo -a GAOLDCC building with srvice depot image with foundation 2x2  this refilled the chem sparay tank -I think CAARMOR was buildable too that mod sucked. It doen't have anything to do with this mod does it?

Well when I restarted the game I hade my Rail Gun Tower in it and here are some pics of ingame and More units and buildings are to come

sorry i cant support this mod. Why you might ask? for these reasons: -its in the General Discussion instead of the Mod Announcements (although im not sure if this counts as a REAL mod) - QUOTE ("brotherhood23") Yes I use TibEd just use the frickin inis! -its a lame no new graphics mod -the changes sound IMO noobish so far. especially that Chemical Missile Strike. and unlimited ammo aircraft. -it only betters Nod those are just a few reasons. theres many more. good luck with it but it doesnt sound fun im sorry to say.

Well i used to use sunedit but THANKFULLY the ppl at tibweb convinced me not to :biggrin: and really if this is another dumb tibsun editing program then its just as worse as SE2K in my opinion QUOTE just use the frickin inis! yeah B23 otherwise you might end up coming out with a crap mod no offense  QUOTE it only betters Nod you need to stable the teams i mean come on there allready unstable enough lol  QUOTE I got my hopes up thinking he was doing a rules.ini well i did think it was unusual for him but we just need to convince him [offtopic]a long post for my 200th post w00t  [/offtopic]

Thank you for the comments and I may have another day off but i will start adding stuff to gdi and new graphics will apear trust me  and suggestions for Nod or GDI plz?

rofl corsair. Especially the million bazillion chem missiles... enough to make it lag! those are a definite MUST  yeah the original 'nod mod' that I mention in tumsun's olllllld mod list. That's back when mods were only rules and art files (and ai and FS files sometimes too).. anyone else remember that? thee was a whole list of em..like 208 something.

Oddly I want to continue this mod and with many new features and thus I may need a team but its not confirmed and Im trying to think of a concept for intro video...like an ion cannon strike,scrin forces,cabals return something but if you'd like to join email me and I will respond IF we need a team but for now heres GDIs "Emp Trooper" Reguards B23,and my friend soon to join the forum well I dont know his user name YEt but he is good a Paint Shop Pro

hmm if your going to add an EMP trooper then give him another EMP weapon that has the EMP tech but only a spread of like 3 or 4 as so he can still hit a small area but not as much as the EMP cannon and make sure his range is somewhat limited to.
IMO giving a unit an ability to EMP something is a very risky thing with ballance.

It would be better only making them able to emp one unit :smile: that way they would be balanced.
