Wouldnt spamming Nod's Rocket Infantry work well against a GDI player that has just built a bunch of Titans?
Because for some reason infantry can take quite a bunch of hits from the titans cannon in CnC
They're cheaper too
yeah since I've been playing TS online I switched to being a nod fan, for two major reasons:
The rocket guys are probebly the best normal infantry in the game. They're good a-air defense for those stupid jumper jet scouts, when you EMP a bunch of tanks that have gotten in yer base, the rocket guys can take em out rather quickly as they're emp immune. Also they're good against tank rush spam; most tanks are aromor piecing, they stink against infantry. The only
effective mobile a-air units in TS are the hvr and the rocket infantry (stealth tanks are kind of weak, unless youve got like a hundred of em).
Rocket guys can take a little more damage than HVRs which is why i like em alot...
except when targeted by orca bomers...then you have DEAD rocket guys.
The other reason i like nod is for their stealth genorator. The FSD being the gdi equivalent, the stealth genorator is easier to deploy and infinitely more devious; they se your conyard and mark it with a waypoint. When they come ith their bombers you sell it (assuming you have a backup), they bomb nothing and waste their fighters as your SAMs take em out. Then you press f8 and give em a friendly taunt "no conyard there, red : P"
...but if a gdi is lucky enough to get a decent firestorm wall up and running, they gain a significant advantage, that they're almost impervious to air spam. last night a game I had ended with a frustrating stalemate, because my ally and I couldn't gt through the other guy's FSD, whereas he couldn't get his way through our cloaked defenses (that and he MCV pumped

).
Too bad it wasn't a FS game, mobile EMPs probably could have changed it up a little, rushing in and uncloaking all our stuff..
