Well I recently popped in my C&C3 disc, deleted my old profile and made a new one, and restarted the GDI campaign. Everything's cool until I get to Act III, where I see this:

Attached Image

3 whole nations are missing in the area of the red circle; Montenegro, independent since June '06, Kosovo, independent as of today, Feb 17, '08, and Serbia, independent since June '06.

Serbia and Montenegro were a single nation, Serbia-Montenegro, but Montenegro had a referendum and it's people wanted independence, so they severed the union with Serbia. Kosovo, under UN administration and NATO defence since the bloody crackdown by Serbia in 1999, just declared independence from Serbia a few hours ago. It'll be recognized by the U.S., Canada, and almost all of the European Union tomorrow, with vehement opposition from Serbia and Russia.

So I ask, how can we fixed that damned map to show the world's three youngest nations. While it may not seem too important, it really bothers me seeing 3 nations left off with a old one still one. It'd be like seeing a world map in school with Yugoslavia and the U.S.S.R. still on it.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to crop the picture

I'm sure that kind of thing is built in, something that can't be changed unless you were to get into some kind of program that would let you edit this.

Then again, I haven't done anything with CnC3 on the comp, I have it on the 360. Anyway, Kosovo had better be celebrating their independance after many years of war. BTW: That's the same country where some idiot stabbed my Dad while he was leading a foot presence patrol near Nova Selo. If you didn't know, the huge crater thing in CnC3 near Sarajevo doesn't exist, my Dad has also lead patrols there.

The party started saturday, and Pristina (the capital) is still in total gridlock with all the partying in the streets.

Maybe I'm just rude, but does it really matter? Is there Tiberium in our world? Are there 2 parties fighting each other and some aliens? No, because it's a game tongue.gif
And to answer your question: I don't know... I suggest looking trough the files, that's all I can say

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Is he okay?

Also, I think the crater is suppost to be from the Ion Cannon in C&C1. That's why every one in GDi was saying Kane constructed a Temple BENEATH the ruins on the old one. Implying it was underground. It wasn't, but it was under where it used to be.

Yeah. Stabbed once in Kosovo (Yep, the same country being discussed here) and once in South Korea. Even though we saved their butts, some of them still hate us, why? But yeah, hes been okay for a few years now. wink1.gif Only problem he has is his back which is broken in several places. (Broke it after landing wrong in a parachute after jumping from a plane.) No, he isn't disabled. He just can't do parts of PT every morning.

Daneses and norwegians are hated by many because a norwegian paper showed chaructures of Muhammed, after they did the same in Denmark. We were generalised because of that.

If the system is quite similar to the one in TS, you should find the map files and their aminations, and edit them someway.

Yeah. Look at Afghanistan. The U.S. helped them long ago to fight the Soviet Union and we helped them gain their freedom from communism. We gave them weapons, such as Stinger Missiles, M16s, everything, but today they use those same weapons against us. Former allies now hated enemies? It's the religions tearing this world apart. "Infidels" live in the Western countries. Right, give me a break. And yes, I saw what happened with the whole Muslim and Muhammed incident. Hey, it's called freedom of speech, and no matter how cruel that might have been it's outlined in most constitutions. Many of them protest but even still their own bomb people and kill themselves in attempts to kill of the Jewish population. I'm not calling every Muslim a terrorist, but does anyone see the Jews blowing themselves up to terrorize people? I think not. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I'm not outlining the Muslims as a whole, actually, one of my best friends is Muslim!

How can Kosovo even be there, when it's newer than the game? tongue.gif Go KOSOVO, Serbia - the Western partsare next!

It also sickens me to see Macedonia as a seperate country there. Whatever, it's just a game.

As for modding part - just look around with the SDK tools and see what you find. You find the Balkan map, just extract and edit.

the change wouldn't matter, remember the world changed in 1995, when tiberium arrived. With tiberium, the countries might have remained together, or split apart in different ways, not to mention that GDI has completely redrew the lines for the planet.

That's what I was figuring. With that Tiberium stuff everywhere, the parties that split each nation probably reconciled their differences... or were wiped out or absorbed by Nod. Or hell, GDI for that matter.

None of you realized that TW is the sequel for TS, which in turn was a sequel for TD, which in turn occurs in 1995. Years before any of these nations came to exist. The map is identical to that in TS and TD, so there are no errors. In fact, it's nice to see the developers noticed such a small thing.
