Figuring Dev started a Favorite Unit for TS, why nod(t) one for TD? rolleyes.gif

GDI=Mammoth Tank.

Powerful, heavilly armoured, great for assaults, fires both land and air.

Nod=Stealth Tank

Round up a bunch, and SNEAK ATTACK!

Others=Commando

Has C4s, pwns infantry, and hey I GOT A PRESENT FOR YA!!

And the APC was there before he updated it.

The APC and Rocket Launcher should be in Others/Both Sides! And what is this "(not usually)" nonsense have to do with the Chemical Warrior and SSM Launcher?

I knew the Rocket Launcher (since thats the real name) was both sides. But its just more common with GDI.
The APC I had been forgetting if it was both sides or not.

About the not usually business. I'm referring to the fact that they don't show up in the default missions.

That's all gonna change in 1.06c... I added a mission option to kick out all single player build exceptions... so people can make missions where Nod can build all of its stuff tongue.gif

So I vote Mammoth Tank becuase well...its quite the mammoth.

SSM Launcher because...it outranges Obelisks!

That sounds cool Nyer. I wish cncmap did that. (I can't believe people use cncmap still...yes I one)

eh its more of a hardcodding inside the game than any thing to do with cncmap (yea people stilll use it), its just he's removing the thing that says nod can build X, Y and Z during any single player misssion.

Mammoth Tank: it's the ideal tank for destroying enemy buildings and units, not to mention it's armor.

Mobile Artillery: it's a handy weapon, capable of outranging enemy defenses and units, it deals quite a punch too.

Minigunner: they're essential units when it comes to warfare, whether the brave soldiers are fighting in the front lines or just defending the base.

The opposite actually... I'm adding a mission option to remove the thing that says Nod can't build X, Y and Z during any single player misssion. These exceptions also include the fact you can't build the other side's superweapons or the Obelisk in single play.

I said the other side's. Nod can build the Obelisk, but GDI can't, even if they capture a Nod Construction Yard. And that's not normal, it's specifically blocked, just like how Nod can't build the helipad, MLRS, SSM and APC.

The build rules specifically say that if the building you're requesting is the Obelisk, and the side isn't "Nod", you can forget it. Meaning it overrides capturing rules.

Actually makes sense as capturing some enemy building doesn't "magically"give you the now how to build the enemies advanced technology.
Unless there would be a database or something in that building.

But from gameplay perspective it is indeed fun to attack your enemy with their own captured technology.
