THe muzzle flash is a little off I think though - As well as coming out of the barrel, smoke should replace the actual flash part, then drift away from the cannon as it dissipates

i know. to change the flh is a different thing. no no, remaking the smoke is what we're talking about.

Good Job, I'll be using them for RO. BTW can I modify them a bit?, just recolor them, as I need a railgun muzzle flash, a elite differently colored railgun muzzle flash, and a elite normal cannon muzzle flash . BTW the credits will be given
Also the FLH on the Titan is highly affected because of the voxel barrel which "jumps" from side to side of the Titan.
Sure, modify them as much as you want.
But you can also tell me what kind of color you want them to be and i'll make some new versions. Since it's easier for me (with the 3dmodel) then for you to change them, isn't it?
I can also give you the 3dsmax file, you make some new anims and we collect them here.
btw Do you found out the correct FLH values for the Titan?

The muzzle flash B should run a bit faster, and the last frames of the explosion #2 run too quickly. Also, explosion #1 looks weird when it suddenly morphs its shape into that whirl of sorts.
The explosions are extracted without any changes from darkreign. So they won't be changed from me.
I like how muzzle flash b looks and disappears ingame, so i don't think i'll make any further changes to this. But if you want you can edit it and simply delete some frames with shp builder and make it this way faster.
what FLH did youuse on the titan, beacuse mine is waaay off
mine too. I use the original ones. the screenshot of the first post was a lucky one, that it fit.
Ok, well when I get out of my lazy state I'll see if i can come up with some nice FLH's!

a little update
I've added a new muzzle flash anim that fits to my Fortress Artillery Tower. Maybe you find something else for that you can use it.
That new one looks really good!
I also like the fact that its a shp turret, and doesn't get messed up like Lobber=yes voxel barrels

the first explosion i've ever made. It's some kind of fireexplosion with burning debris and could be used as an artillery or ammo/barrel explosion.
very nice. I believe it would look great if used for a gas barrel explosion like the ones in RA2.
Not bad for a first explosion, That'd like quite good as a magma bubble popping too. LKO, what is your FLH for the Titan in the picture above?
