anyway,
i was watching this vid on you tube, of this german that stayed up for 48 hours so i was wondering what is the longest u stayed up

my last record is 43 hours, not something i'm gonna repeat any time soon.

Uhh ... probably about 37 hours? I woke up at about 9am, drove home, stayed up all night in anticipation of the trip the following day, then went on that trip, then slept on the bus ride there and home, then slept when I got home tongue.gif . Let me tell you ... I actually didn't feel tired during my trip, only when I got home from it. Lol.

Me? never.

But the German origin would explain it coz aronud the WW2-era the Germans had supersoldier programs and they got soldiers to keep active for more than 3 days. Possibly a relative to a super soldier?

Hmm....... I think my longest was between 30-32 hours. I crashed at about 5 in the morning after my little marathon, and slept for a good 11 hours. tongue.gif

lol i own you all... i have major sleeping problems, that i cant solve and the longest i have ever been up is about 57 hours. its strange, after about 48 hours, everything seems to be in a different angle, you notice things that you have not before, you think differently... its something i dont plan to happen again, didn't like it one bit.

lol i had that after 40 hours, things did not seem the way they where, and this constant weard feeling ph34r.gif
i was happy it was day time, the night was starting to creep me out lol.
i wont repeat it any time soon.

I think my top is 40 hours. It was finals week, I had an 8am class so I had to get up at 6, then pulled an all-nighter to finish a final for the next day. After that class was over I got to sleep at about 10pm.

I stayed up for about 40 hours once, expect more when I go to the gathering 2008 tongue.gif

And TShyper, I feel with you.

I slept for 16 hours after a LAN tongue.gif I got migrane and I feel sick like if I'm going to puke and get a headache when being up for long.

I'd probably feel like that if I stayed up for too long. I just can't stay away, even if I find myself awake still at 7:00 AM in the morning, I at least get a few hours of sleep - I could stay awake if I had to, but I won't do it just because I can rolleyes.gif

I'm lucky enough to suffer from insomnia so I don't get much sleep most nights (usually end up getting to sleep between 3 and 4). However, I've never actually been awake for more than 24 hours despite it. I'm usually between 18 and 20 hours awake each day, I can't seem to avoid it and I hope it goes away eventually.

If you're awake for long enough, it is the same as being on drugs.

(Hallucinations begin around 36 hours [hallucination being a broad definition that could be as simple as hearing a noise that isn't there], if you make it to 72 hours without sleep it is like being on Heroin and I believe you are technically legally insane at that point until you get some sleep.)

My longest day was from friday 11am till Sunday 8pm on a LAN-Party at School in vacations (LAN-Party went from friday 19pm till Sunday 11am).
So over all something about 13+24+20=57 hours.
The hardest time, was the time between 2 and 5 o'clock in the morning, that was for the most of us only possible to survive with 3 cans of coffee. For me, who don't likes coffee at all, it took 3 1,5l bottles Coke each night. biggrin.gif
But i doubt that i could stand this now anymore.

The only strange sideeffect i can remember was, that i had all the time the feeling, as if some kind of a silk of spider is on my face. I always tried to wipe them off, but that last only for a minute and then the feeling came back.
