IE: Component tower with RPG.

I can't get them to work, I place the component tower, doubble click and select RPG as it's add-on. In game it has nothing.

Same for power plants and turbines.

PS: Also game auto repairs the players buildings, how do I make it not do that?

outside of having to set which upgrade you want you also need to specify how many. So when you double click on the structure you wish to add add-ons too look at the top right option it should say something like 'upgradec' and when you click it's pull down box it'll have 1-3. Use 1 for component towers as they can only have 1 upgrade and 2 for powerplants and upgrade center.

now what do you mean by it auto repairs? I'll take a stab with the vague info:
A)If you put an add-on on a building it will auto-heal itself at game start IIRC
B)If it's a single player mission map then your IQ for your side is set too high. If this is the case go to Edit -> House -> IQ and set it to 0 or 1. Also make sure you're on the house you want to change it on. (Current House drop down box is the 2nd one while the 1st is House of player)

Any way to have aircraft on a helipad, or do I have to tell them to move as soon as the map starts?

EDIT: When I give buildings an add-on it makes them at full health, I want them slightly damaged. cry.gif

I don't think there's a way for aircraft to start on a helipad. Try ordering the aircraft to move on their helipads.

I'm afraid there isn't a way to fix this. You can also notice the same bug ingame if you first place a component tower, then damage it to about half of its full health and then build an add-on on the tower. The tower will be repaired to full health instantly, and you don't have to pay for repairing it.

Also how come all buildings (aside from the construction yard) take a tiny amount of damage over time?

Like every few minutes the first health box will drop off and you have to spend 1 credit to fix it.

Whats up with that?

If you're low on power, all your power-needing structures take about 1 point of damage in a minute. That's how it was in TD and RA1, and is also in TS.
Also if a projectile hits near a structure it might take just a few points of damage.

This usually happens to me as Nod. Especially once I build a Stealth Generator.
Then I spend 0$ repairing everything.

Try going in to houses and changing the "IQ:" from 5 to 0 on the player controled house i think that is how i fixed it

That fixes a different problem, not the buildings receiving 1 point of damage thing.

About buildings getting damaged when not low on power or when enemies haven't even touched it, I haven't seen that. What I said in my earlier post is proven though.

i've seen what he's talking about in my games. It's really minor though and it's not like the power situation in that it keeps taking health away. It only takes the first little tiny brick of the green bar away and then i think it stops. It might keep going but it'd be a long long time for it do so then as i haven't noticed it do more than the single brick.
