i did quick test and techlevel 11 (0b) apeared to work perfectly.

I remember that the ai on some single player maps used techlevels more than 10 so it should be possible to go higher
Found an example Nod12a, house Launchers, Tech level 12

Here's another one for the list:

Structures with the tag SensorArray=yes can not be sold, if you go to sell it in-game it will simply pack back up into it's mobile state (if it has one), if not it wont sell full stop. To prevent this from happening jump to line 43EC8 and then enter 74 46. This will allow structures with SensorArray=yes to be sold without error, which is good news for Twisted Insurrection!

I never knew about this problem, having said that it has been a long time since I’ve touched the MSA or SensorArray=Yes (ironically I should have noticed this in TS:BoB)

Im planning to post my collection on the web when i have time and have got permission from everybody who has a tutorial. (all will have pictures of course)

When Hyper was telling me about this selling structures with the SensorArray=yes tag, he also mentioned there would be side effects and I've just discovered these pretty nasty side effects. Any deployable units will have messed up foundations, for example the tick tank will not be able to deploy on a normal 1x1 cell and it seems to shift upwards 1 or 2 cells once it deploys, so I don't recommend using the last hack I stated as it's side effects are too nasty of an issue to overlook.

To reverse the hack back to normal jump to line 43EC8 and replace 74 46 with 75 49.

...but perhaps when it comes to you i would be better saying "credit hyper and tutorial creator unless stated other wise" in bold across the top of the page tongue.gif

I need to full test this and it isnt perfect but i my tests and screenshot getering I may have just figured out how to removed some unchangables,, dont get your hopes up, i dont promise it will be any use

Does any one know about any RA2 hex edits (or sites which have them) i thought it made sence to include RA2 hex edits since some in theory should be as simple as adding the line "[TS-RA2]" & "this also working in RA2

I rather doubt there'll be any hacks at all that are done at exactly the same offsets in TS and RA2...

yea after having a look any tutorial or change which refers to an offsets for Tiberian sun is useless for RA2, unless we find the offset for RA2 (if it excists)but im there is no point unless its for TS.

About a month ago I found out how to change the hardcoded Mammoth Mark II strength and I changed it to 5000 just to test it.. and it worked. Not sure if changing the cost of the walls would be as easy though (although it took me an hour to change the strength because it was the first time I was really using IDA and I wasn't familiar with its GUI, but now I could do it in a min).

my original way was very crude, i basicaly couldnt (at the time of that screenshot )remove the hardcoding so set it to apply the hard codding to "nothing" my methods works for the mammoth mk2, all 3 walls and ARTYHE but is very crude and will not work if i remember correctly for E2

ill work on this a bit more and have a look in to it deeper

I have some freetime at the moment so im going to send messages around asking for permission to use tutorials and resources etc

I would also like to ask if any body knows of any other tutorials i have missied to post links or upload the changes here

With any luck i shall post a new topic about this by the start of next week with a basic version (i plan to create something like the ai editing guide, a html document that can be downloaded or hosted by a website)
