The current last version of the mod that is available online is 1.1, however i have been working on a newer version for a while, and i've recently decided to aim towards releasing this new version. My main goals for this version will be:

- General cleanup, i'll be working on sorting maps, making some small balance changes and doing some unit pruning;
- I'll be reworking the sidebars completely so that they will have a uniform look for each side;
- TSTW will be running pretty much independantly from your normal TS/FS installation, which means your TS/FS settings won't be affected.

Here's a new sidebar style for GDI i just made.

it looks good but the golden boarder on the cameos needs work. And W00T! progress has been needed for a long time. I hope you clean up the new voxels with the new voxel editor's hyper normals.

the logo looks fine its just that bordering doesn't match the side bar very well nor the cameos. Maybe if it was darker?

To comment on the cameo's, I think the Medic, Engineer, Harvester, Jump Jet don't really look like the unit's they're supposed to look like and also the pavement looks more like a blurred background or something...
So my suggestion would be to redo those cameo's (maybe you could use Gangster's cameo pack and erase the background). Also the barracks appears to be floating above it's background, so maybe you could do something about that.

Aside from that I agree the sidebar (including the cameo's I didn't mention) indeed looks pretty nifty smile.gif Only the silo doesn't really seem to fit in with the other cameo's... I think it needs to be more yellow-ish. You should probably be able to fix it by just setting the color balance in Photoshop a bit more towards yellow.

I think i'd be able to make the border look a bit better by altering the frame dividing the individual cameos..

Component towers connect to walls because the line in rules.ini that says "WallTower=GACTWR" (GACTWR being to component tower). Only one structure is allowed after "WallTower=" and often a bug happens that causes the AI to only keep building whatever building is behind "WallTower=", which is solved by putting an upgrade after "WallTower=". Wow looks really good DvD. I think that the sidebar look good, but the silo looks sort of odd, compared to the other cameos and would look better more round like Bittah said it would look better yellowish, but its your choice thats only my opinion, otherwize if you haven't already , then you could change that.

I'm currently having a nasty problem: the game keeps giving me an Internal Error, and i can't find the reason. Examination of the except.txt by CNCVK made him say the error was in the 'WaveClass' but i have no idea what that means.

If i can't fix this problem, i won't bother releasing an improved version at all, i think.

I'm about to give up. There's nothing weird with all my laser weapons, IMO. Perhaps it's just some incompatibility with my GFX card/driver?

I really doubt its anything to do with a your card, TS runs off directX 6, which most old PC's can run without a card. Also, I thinkit would probably bring down the whole game, rather than one thing.

Please dont give up, at worst cant you just transfer things over to a new version, bit by bit, and see when it starts crashing?

INI checker doesn't find anything. For any decent modder it's a useless tool anyway (at least the current version).

Right well, DvD... I spoke to Pd and VK a while back and they said Detail Levels can give a IE on some system, cause unknown though... they said try a level of 1 or off and test some more, its also possible the game is trying to render too many animations at once along side a laser (WaveClass).

I could send you the latest version, perhaps you could do a few test runs, just let the AIs battle it out on max speed, and an error is bound to pop up. At least on my system. I'll check my art.ini now, btw, as suggested by some.
