I am chinese man,so my english is not good .I have a lot of missions packet,so like SC003.MIX,LEO.MIX.
I put them to c&c directory, but there are only 78 missions in it. I make sure there is more than 100 missions in them. How can I take out the other missions on the menu??

what is LEO.MIX? There is no such mix in game.dat, so i doubt that the game reads this.

Which mix files do you have in your TD directory? For example, if you have an SC004.MIX too, the missions in this one would overwrite missions in SC003.mix with the same name.
Make sure that your SCXXX.mix file has the highest number, then it should replace all missions with the same name (even the original).

You also can't have more than 80 new missions for each side because only missions scg20ea.ini/bin-scg99ea.ini/bin and scb20ea.ini/bin-scb99ea.ini/bin appear in the "New Missions" menu of the expansion pack.

Oh and welcome aboard. smile.gif

Another problem is that there's no guarantee that these mission packs don't use the same numbers... it's not advised to use many of them together. Better to add one, play the missions, and then remove it again.

How can I get the files so like *.ini *.bin ? Use the MIXMAN2 software?
Only rename the files can take out the missions ?
Is that can not more than 80 missions?

Mix Manager can indeed identify all missions. XCC Mixer can't do that; it only knows the officially used ones. Mix Manager tries to identify all possible filenames of the SC[G/B/J/M][##][E/W][A/B/C].[INI/BIN] type
You can find the latest version here: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/tools/mman351.zip

And no, since the lowest mission is 20 and the highest is 99, there can only be 80 missions of one side at the time. Of course, there's both GDI and Nod missions, bringing the total to 160 missions wink1.gif

Hi Im new here, I have a question, hope it isnt trouble:

I have a pretty much finished multiplayer map, how do I make it show up in-game?

From what you are saying here single player maps are simply added to the mix files (using this mix manager software) containing the covert ops and campaign maps is that correct?

Yeah so again what about multiplayer maps?

Perhaps someone could link me to the most up to date tutorial? thanks no matter what.

No, that was about mission packs. Maps and missions don't HAVE to be in a mixfile to work, but for packs it's just a lot easier than having hundreds of files in the game folder.

Anyway, just make sure they have the correct name format and it should work. For multiplayer maps, this format is "SCM##EA.INI" (and .BIN). Multiplayer maps can't use the full mission name format where the "EA" part is changed to EB/EC/etc.

My own mission making manual explains that too, somewhat, though it's focussed towards scripting single player missions

Thank you so much, I really appreciate all your work as I already have your version of the editor, some of your maps and a less up to date version of the tutorial you just linked to.

TD multiplayer is overlooked and underrated, I look forward to helping with changing that!

That is seriously off topic here. Please don't hijack topics.

As for your question: In multiplayer, you can't. Multiplayer ignores Win and Lose triggers, as triggers can't be configured to only affect one human player. The only thing you can determine in a trigger is the side which can activate it, not who gets the effect.

What is CnCNet

CnCNet is an unofficial (as in not supported by EA) tool created by Command & Conquer Fans for the first Command & Conquer game; "Command & Conquer" also known as "Tiberian Dawn".

CnCNet allows you to play "network" games over the internet up to the maximum supported players. (which is 4 in the official version and 6 in Nyerguds' 1.06 patch).

...Network games over the internet...

6-player online C&C95 tongue.gif

It works nothing like Hamachi though. Hamachi tunnels network packets to other PCs. CnCNet only makes sure the game's list of player IPs is filled with online addresses instead of LAN addresses. After that, the game itself really connects to the other players on the internet.
We even tested this... after a game is started, you can just close the CnCNet tool, and the game will keep running just fine smile.gif

Anyway... this is getting quite off topic here -_-
