QUOTE
It was on August 31, 1995 when the Command & Conquer franchise was introduced to the world with Tiberian Dawn and propelled the real-time-strategy genre in to the hearts of each and every one of YOU. Now, Command & Conquer fans, after 14 years, and 18 games across the Red Alert, Generals, and Tiberian universe, someone very near and dear to the heart of the C&C franchise will soon have a message for you, to be communicated world-wide in "early July". Make sure to bookmark CommandandConquer.com, as this person will drop his message at just the right time.

Well there is really only a week and a half of "early July" left, so anytime should this message appear on the CNC website. As always, we'll bring you the latest as it unfolds.

So Kane's now the New Sith of Darkness with Epic Glowing Red Eyes? Serious lack of costume ideas it seems...

This still feels more cnc3 than tiberium, I doubt I'll buy it. The only way I would buy a cnc title nowadays, is if someone other than EA, who actually knew how to make a compelling story, without cliches and plot holes, makes it.

Edit: I just saw the pics and battlecast prime, and I'm sorry to say it just looks like cnc3 with a new paint job, and after seeing RA3, I feel that I no longer like EA's brand of "Unique". They keep telling us its a new way to play and say that all the "fans" will love it, I doubt it. I'm sure most of us just want to play the good ol way, not some flying fortress or something like that, except for the Kodiak, the Kodiak was awesome.

Has quite a large Supreme Commander touch to it. That GDI walker looks like a Fatboy, while the Nod one looks like a Spider Bot.

Why reintroduce mechs? WHY?
It was fine with only the Avatar and Scrin. and to a lesser extent the Steel Talons expansion...

Actually, I just have an issue with the tank looking thing in the picture Tore put up. Looks really odd... like it can't turn it's turret, and that doesn't make a reliable tank.. :O

Otherwise, it actually kind of reminds me of Star Wars... good or bad, take your pick lol.gif

Supreme Commander is a very good game... If cnc4 gets SupCom elements in it, it would be nice. I'm not saying it should be an tiberium variant of SupCom... No way...
