This isn't the mod I talked about in "PPM Disaster"
This is a different mod I started. This mod is as you can see, a TS to Star Wars TC. Mostly based off Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefront II. This is one of those. (Yes I know there is a C&C1 meets Star Wars) You guys will call this a newbie mod, but If it gets the right help it could be in top 100 at ModDB.

The reason there isn't so many units on the list is because I don't watch the movies, but I play the games.
Maps, most of them will be based off planets such as Hoth, Naboo, and Endor.
TMP Editor has no use for me whatsoever as I can't even edit a TMP at all.
I'm okay with voxels and SHPs but I'll need some help.
Some of this will take hardcoding.
This'll be a bigger challenge than some big mods combined if I don't get help. Thanks to those who may help.

Notice:I can't find any good downloads for Star Wars sounds. Especially the most important ones. (Laser, Lightsaber)

Note that there are only a few units on that list added and they are ATST, ATAT, and Millenium Falcon which belong to LKO.

Using LKO's three Star Wars units as placeholders for now on Nod.
Top:ATST with a strength of 2000 (they have lots in Battlefront as will most vehicles)and cost of 1500.

Bottom:ATAT with a strength of 5000 and cost of 4000. Not to mention a build limit of 2.

Nice... I remember converting the Galactic Battlegrounds walkers for RA2SW. Pity that mod never went anywhere.

What is CIS though? Never heard of that.


The only remarks I have are that the colours you used there are absolutely unreadable, and that you made an error with one of the colour and U tags.


Also, eh... you better fix that title. No such word as "Galatic" tongue.gif

The CIS is the droids from The Clone Wars.
Basically this is taking stuff from all of the Star Wars movies and converting them into one mod for Tiberian Sun.

Update:ATAT has 10000 health, but speed is 1.
There is going to be a Snowspeeder for the Rebels(GDI) but it probably isn't possible to use a Primary=SnowspeederLasers and Secondary=Cable.

What isn't possible (afaik)would be causing the cable to only fire on the ATAT.
Four campaigns.
Infantry are VERY weak against vehicles, but are strong against each other.

Cable logic would be pretty impossible to implement anyway... it'd require a weapon that does instant kill but doesn't hit until the circling is complete, but which aborts if the unit that fired it either dies or stops targeting the AT-AT. And that's indeed not even counting the "only target walkers" thing.

Should be able to target AT-STs too anyway; I remember doing that tons of times in the Shadows of the Empire N64 game tongue.gif


btw, your infantry classing is pretty bizarre. There's no reason not to include some type of anti-armour infantry. An entire class that's only useful against its own type is just plain useless in general, since that means they won't affect battles that are largely vehicles-based.

This idea isn't new, I've read somewhere it would happen but that no-one bothered until now.

If you are using units from games than I suggest 'Star Wars Galactic Battle Grounds' and the expantion pack 'Clone Wars', the game has over 100+ units and is based on Age of Empires II, that might help.

Good luck though, I imagine this to be very popular...

well well dont let this mod die, it sounds too cool. you are lucky as im quite a big SW fan so i can help you with the units... btw WOOKIEPEDIA is your friend.

rebel aircraft:
B-wing (kinda emp bomber with 3 ion cannons, ion cannons are kinda EMP in SW)

Imperial infantry:
Stormtroopers should be replaced with snowtroopers on snowy, sandtroopers on desert maps. And maybe swamptroopers in...
Imperial Worker (kinda engineer from jk2)
Imperial Saboteur/Commando (commando unit, stealthy like sh*t, maybe sniper, C4 )
Imperial Jumptrooper (kinda jumpjet sh*t, with rocket launcher)

Imperial vehicles:
AT-AA (All Terrarin Anti Aircraft, from empire at war)
Speeder Bike
TIE Crawler (Massive TIE tank)
TIE Mauler (lighter TIE tank)

Republic vehicles:
SPHA-T (f*ckin big railgun artillery mech)
AT-HE (All Terrarin Heavy Enforcer, AT-TE on steroids)
AT-AP (All Terrarin Artillery Pod, walks on two legs, but to fire its MAIN gun needs to deploy a third, juggernaut eh?)

what is assult droid?
Commando Droid (these seaky lil sh*ts can disguise like spyes in RA series. They have instant killer blasters and swords (lol))
Magna Droid (Grievous' personal bodyguards, VERY thick armor and meelee weapon called shock rod)
Rocket Droid (Super Battle Droid with jetpack)
Geonosian Warrior (replaces Rocket Droids on Geonosis)
General Grievous (hero unit)

CIS vehicles
AAT (Armoured Assult Tank, this is that hovering stuff u mentioned)
MTT (Multi-Troop Transport, HUGE APC with some light weaponry, and hovers slowly)
STAP (Single Troop Arieal Platform, much like speeder bike, but even lighter and faster, also flies higher)
Hailfire Droid
Tank Droid
Crab Droid
Droideka should be able to deploy like the tick tank, not burrow itself to the ground but deploy a shield
Droid Carrier (small hovering apc)

CIS Aircraft
Vulture Droid (acts like a light warmech on ground and basic fighter in air)
Tri-wing Droid fighter (interceptor one)
Hyena Droid Bomber (Vulture on steroids, carpet bomber)
Geonosian Fighter (replaces Tri-wings on geonosis)

Quite useful. Actually I just remembered a Republic vehicle. The AT-RT. Kinda like a mini AT-ST.

Droid Starfighter was also missing.
Assault Droid is basically the CIS counterpart to Rocket Infantry. (Like Nod)

I will make sure all Droid units have Cyborg=yes on them.
And a thing about the Droideka, maybe when it deploys, it can still fire and can't move (since it's deployed) Thing is, the sheild will wear off after a while. The more the sheild was hit, the quicker it wore off.

I mostly used SW Battlefront as a reference. And I recently realized I had a Star Wars RTS and that is Star Wars Force Commander.

Im not sure that all the droids should have cyborg=yes tag. AFAIK only the Magna Droid and Grievous can survive if cut in half (seen in a Clone Wars episodes)

About the Droideka, well. Make a damaged (hp turned to yellow/red) frame for the deployed one, which lacks shield.

Btw some hero units:

Imp Aircraft: Vader's TIE

Republic Aircraft: Jedi Starfighter
Republic Infantry: Jedi Knight or Rex

CIS Aircraft: Grievous' Starfighter
