Twisted Insurrection is up for Nomination as Mod of the Year 2010.
As you are aware, last year Twisted Insurrection made it into the final Top 100 nominees, but unlike last year, Twisted Insurrection is now in the Released Mods criteria, so getting into the top 100 again this year would be an amazing feat.
Vote Twisted Insurrection for Released Mod of the Year 2010!

Remember that you can vote for more than one Mod for Mod of the Year, released or not, so be sure to check out our affiliate pages as well!

Yeah, I've really enjoyed it although this first release feels a bit rushed when we look at the AI and the 98/ME compatibility issue (which should be fixed asap). It's a beta version though so I assume some issues are expected.
How's progress, Aro?

Voted for TI. I agree with both of you guys. TI's Map forum has nearly twice as many maps as vanilla TS/FS had and I can tell that took lots of hard work. Q45 said that the simple two-player map that he recorded (forgot the name) took 6 hours to make.

That was a simple map. Then you got massive mission maps like ^Rampastein's "Red Death Unchained" which he said took at least 60 hours.

The terrain is awesome as well the voxels and SHPs. (LKO has got the best SHPs I've ever known)

On Xfire I tracked about 80 hours of TS while making RDU. I won't be doing something like that ever again, with the short GCC deadline I pretty much had to forget about real life (during our Autumn holiday week I spent 48 hours on making the mission) cool.gif Getting it finished and spotlighted felt great though. The mission has nothing to do with TI however.

I might do a multiplayer map or two for TI someday, if I just had a map editor for it (haven't tested how well basic Finalsun works with it, I think it should work normally).

Thanks guys, it's great to know that even with little Public publishing, people still have strong opinions.

Well if I have to be honest, I've not been working on TI a lot these days, I'm busy with tons of other things which leaves TI at the bottom of my to-do-list. However, with Christmas and Mod of the Year coming up, a couple of motivational boosts is all I need to post daily updates. There is actually a lot more going on behind the scenes than what you would probably assume, I just don't like showing WIP's.

Updates will come soon, hopefully.
